Can't get one and being lied to as to the reasons why…read more I have been told the doctor I want "is not allowed " to work on patients over 42 years old (I'm 62) when my co-worker had the same condition and this Doctor operated on him 3 months ago when he was 48. When confronted they changed it to 55 and said the doctors set this age. When confronted again I informed them you previously said he "was not allowed." My insurance company says he is allowed to operate on people 0-125 years old. I've researched 3 different doctors that I'm willing to go with and still don't have an appointment.

Professional staff did intake, questions, BP/temp etc, and swabbed my throat. She was friendly, efficient, professional and caring. The APRN, Stephanie, came in ,examined me, ordered more tests and talked with me about symptoms. All of this was in the first 20 minutes or less I was there. I found every staff person to be professional, knowledgeable, kind, and caring. There was no rushing me. They took their time to assess my health status. They discussed treatment with me and proceeded to order medication. I was probably there less than an hour and some of that was just waiting for test results. If you want good quality urgent care this is the place to go. I know I will return there if I need an urgent care.

I am very disappointed in the Family Health and Wellness office. I have been a patient there for…read moremany years. My employer had changed our insurance provider so after I went for my yearly physical, I received an out of network bill. My yearly physicals have always been 100 percent covered, so this was unexpected. I was very disappointed that no one in the office informed me that my new insurance would now be out of network when I made my appointment or when I checked in. If I would have known, I would have chosen a different providers office. I also work in healthcare and our office ALWAYS checks patient insurance at the time the appointment is made so there are no surprises. The office manager at Family Health and Wellness was not willing to work with me on my charge unless I was a cash patient at the time of check in and I am told I must pay the full amount. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this office again! Poor patient customer service.
