I called and spoke to the one, Troy. I made an appointment to get a bathroom Light/Fan/Heater replaced. I grabbed my laptop, so I could work while I was out of the office, and drove across town to meet the electrician. He showed up on time and looked professional. I showed him the bathroom where the fixture is located. The electrician started by telling me that the heater would require its own circuit (upsell?). I told him that the house had been that way since it was built. Our family has owned it since then. I asked if that was a code change, he said no, it just had to be that way. I assured him that both bathrooms had been wired with the heater and fan on one circuit, as had all of the houses in the nighborhood. He the informed me that Allgood electric refuses to work on aluminum wiring. This was one of the houses that was built with aluminum wiring- not the most wrong thing that happened in the 70's, but close. He left without doing performing any work. I called Troy and politely expressed my frustration at the waste of time and energy this has been. He reaffirmed the decision not to work on aluminum wiring, and apologized. The bottom line is that, I just need four wires connected. Nothing has been modified in the system, I just do not know which wires need to be connected to which. By all means, it's your business, work on what you want to. That being said, electricians, in my experience, are some of the first to place a monetary value on every minute of their time. Accordingly, Troy had the option of trying reach some sort of an accommodation for wasting so much of my time. He could easily have made an exception and had his employee connect the wires in question. They would have been paid for their time, I would not have wasted mine, and this would be a positive review instead of what it is. read more

I called "All Good" for some light outlets I wanted replaced around the house that were causing problems. They quickly sent an electrician over who quoted me $530 for replacing 5 light switches and 2 outlets. After he was finished with 2 switches and 2 outlets, he began to pack up and leave. I said "what about the other 3 outlets?" He said the quote was for switches and each outlet had multiple switches. Maybe it was just miscommunication, but he was at my house for 45 minutes and charged me $504. That seems pretty steep. The outlet below cost $175 to replace-took 10 minutes. read more

Although their quote was about $100 higher than the others, I went with Allgood because they have completed electrical work for me in the past and I know they do a great job. I needed an GFCI outlet installed in the bathroom to connect a bidet. There existed an outlet on the other side of the wall, so the Allgood electrician was able to use that to install the outlet on the bathroom side of the wall. 3 stars, because several years ago we had a decent experience. Recently, not so much. Asked them to come out for estimate for several "fixes" our inspector identified, and to fix our door bell. The guy wrote up an estimate, and said he "fixed" the doorbell by connecting 2 wires. Before he left, I asked if it was fixed and then he tried it & still no sound. He then said "trouble shooting" would be an extra $189 on the estimate.. My husband replaced & installed the doorbell for a fraction of the cost. Troy Allgood (Owner), Michael Lemon (Electrician) and the WHOLE Allgood Electric Staff were AMAZING! I had three things done to my house which Allgood Electric did which were: Installation of a Generator Mechanical Interlock and Main QO Breaker, Panel Interior Swap and Installation of a EATON Cutler Hammer Ultra Whole House Surge Protector. I first did a virtual consultation with Troy showing him what I wanted to get done to my home in which he gave me an estimate/recommendations based on my current home setup. I found that Allgood's prices were not only very competitive with the current market but they were able to start on the project right away. Other companies that I contacted advised me that due to the current demand of the market the earliest available consultation they had was 2-weeks out. Not only were other companies consultations so far out they also charged a 'consultation fee' which Allgood did not. After talking with Troy and finalizing the estimate Michael was able to come out and complete the job. Michael did AMAZING work. He was very polite and professional. After the job was completed Michael gave me a quick rundown on how to use the system. I am VERY SATISIFIED with the quality of work and professionalism of this company from the Owner all the way down to the Electrician who came out to complete the job. I inquired about installing a NEMA 14-50 plug in my garage. Allgood was quick to respond and send an electrician out. Service panel was outside my house and required a PVC conduit to be run about 200 feet to my garage. I had two other quotes from electricians. Allgood quoted me $4250.00 for the project. We had just moved into our house when we discovered the dryer outlet was not working. I contacted Allgood and they responded right away. Think I talked to Troy and he asked me something about a circuit breaker but i know nothing about anything electrical. So he said ok, we'll get someone out there today. David showed up, took a look at the outlet then went oustside, came back in, hit the on button on dryer and presto! Working dryer! The breaker had tripped. Took all of 5 mins to fix my problem. I should be embarrassed I didnt know how to fix this but I do now! Best money i ever spent that day because i considered this an emergency. I even got the feeling David wasnt going to charge me for this because I had to ask how much as he was walking out. David stopped and looked at his partner and paused. I kinda had to prod him, they had come all the way out here and rescued my day. I wasnt gonna let them leave without any payment. They did give me a fee but only after i pushed for it. And the fee was totally reasonable. Honesty. How do you put a price on that these days? I will never forget this. And will use Allgood again without a doubt. Totally recommend them.
