Unprofessional customer service and zero accountability once they get paid…read more I strongly advise caution if you are considering Jimmy John's Roofing LLC. They claim to offer "satisfaction guaranteed," but in reality, they only care about getting paid. Once the job is done, you are on your own. Here is what happened with our new metal roof installation: Complete lack of communication: Just four days after the job was finished, I messaged them with a concern about exposed shingles and a gap in the metal panels. I was told someone would come out. Nobody showed up. I messaged again--crickets. Only responded to public pressure: They completely ignored my private messages until I posted a negative review. Suddenly, they cared enough to respond. Faked an "inspection": We specifically asked them to coordinate a time with us so someone could be home to show them the issue. Instead, they drove by, didn't even pull into our driveway, snapped a picture, and drove off. Insulted our intelligence: After their drive-by "inspection," they tried to claim the area wasn't part of the roof and told us a gutter belonged in that spot. That area is on the uphill, sloped side (gable/rake edge) of the roof. Anyone with basic knowledge knows gutters go on the lower eaves, not the sloped rake edge, because water runs downhill! The rake edge requires proper drip edge flashing and trim to keep wind-driven rain out--not a gutter. Dismissive attitude: When we pointed out that you can visibly see exposed shingles and gaps where water can easily be blown under the new metal, their dismissive response was, "Well, your roof hasn't leaked, has it?" The roof didn't leak before they worked on it either--that is no excuse for sloppy workmanship and exposed underlayment. They acted like we were stupid for bringing up a very legitimate installation flaw. If they had simply shown up when they said they would, listened to our concerns, and properly flashed the edge of the roof, this could have easily been resolved. Save yourself the headache. They preach customer satisfaction, but they do not deliver.
