However, last year we noticed a lot of fading of the paint and it was primarily on the boards that were replaced. I called Bart and asked him to come look at it and advise me on what the next step should be. He suggested that we have the house washed, which we did. It looked better but did not solve the problem. This is where he amazed me. He sent his guys back out and put another coat of paint over almost the entire house. All of this at NO CHARGE!!!. Now that is really standing behind your work. They require a non-refundable 20% deposit of the overall estimate just to put you on their schedule. You are lucky if they are able to start your project within 4-6 weeks. Additionally, their final invoice was over the agreed upon amount in two out of three of their previous jobs. The paint on the last job (less than a year ago) is already bubbling and peeling of the wall. They also painted over painter's tape and didn't bother to take curtain rods, brackets or existing nails out of the wall prior to commencing painting. There are much better painters in the area that may take a bit longer due to not having a full crew, but the results will be much better.
