5 stars and a FTR? well if the shoe fits…read more lets see, i needed a new patio door, 14 casement windows and a new one in my living room. i had heard of turner as a good contractor in the glastonbury area, so i gave them a call for an estimate. dave showed up, senior sales guy, he toted in a very large suitcase with his sales devices and a heat lamp and told us all about the virtues of windows and made a joke about crappy products (he actually used it twice, both times got me to give a canned laugh, think shooter mcgavin and his sand joke, I'll let you see it in action, no spoilers) i had obviously looked at a few other companies, but in the end, the price/quality won our business a few weeks later, after our 1st installment cleared, the office called us to set up an installation. the job was suppose to take 1.5 days, in reality it took 6, which, to be fair, i was ok with, well sort of. i rather have it take longer and the attention to detail not be overlooked. funny enough, when the crew showed up the first day the main guy chuckled and said yea, all the windows will be in today and we can come back on monday to finish the trim. well after they spent 8 hours on the patio door, we knew it wasnt going to be a one and done. the patio door apparently was originally installed by a high school shop class. ok, maybe not, but they needed to rip the whole thing out and build it from scratch, fine by me, this job wasnt cheap! the next work day was a snow storm, perfect excuse to not show, no worries they gave me a heads up. skip ahead a few days, full crews in the house getting it done! When they wrapped on Thursday (!) i did a walk over, and found several 'issues' and promptly called the home office, they had a guy on site to fix it asap! Also, that patio door needed some finishing and they came back on Friday to finish and an hour visit turned into another 7 hours cleaning, touching up, finishing this and that. I really appreciated the attention to detail, but then also wondered how they would have expected to get this all done in a day! in (window) closing i would highly recommend corey turner for consideration for your home improvement job, i would also recommend giving them extra time (mentally) to get the job done, but anything worth doing is worth doing well. Not a lick of wood, hardware, or any material remained on site when they finished. The crew applied their many years of experience to the project, setting the new windows, insulating, and then silicone caulking. Really, for the multiple quotes I received, this project was so reasonable my spouse took me to Block Island on the savings. Great work. Fair price. Mostly, though, we felt cared for during the job. They know what they're doing and they are kind in their work. Recommend without hesitation.

So I had A LOT OF MICE that learned to enter the home by burrowing under the siding. I called Yargueta and they made me custom color matched trim on site that fit better than a glove to seal the gaps going around the house. It makes the siding look a bit cleaner AND they corrected some issues left by the previous installer for me. They showed up as promised, very responsive, and completed the job to my satisfaction. He offered to pay for the damages caused to my Gutter Helmet. This was replaced on 1/29/20 at the cost of $300. I am impressed by the customer service to handle this in a timely manner. I will now recommend Millstream to others for roofing projects, but just be aware that they might use subcontractors. I hope the company they use will learn from their past mistakes.

Contacted Millstream, they came and put up mess gutter guards on the house, I asked it they could also do my garage, (I never had gutter guards on the garage) they told me it would cost $500, they tech, Troy, came and did the work, he told me he ran out of pieces and I would need a half a box, I told him if I am paying for an entire box, to leave the remainder at my house. I just go the bill for $500, for a full box! When I called the office, Paula told me they gave him the 13 pieces he needed, so I asked why I was charged $500 for a full box, she had no answer. Lansing carries these mesh Gutter Guards, $350 per box. Also, when you get a new roof, the roofer is supposed to leave remaining roof shingles with you, Millstream did not do that either. They lied to me, harassed me, and insulted me when I tried to get them to stop the work they were doing. A $1,200 bill turned into a $14,000 bill. They then said that I had to do a full chimney rebuild for 14k. When I pushed back about it, they definitely pressured me to work with them. When I got quotes from different companies, they were in the 7k to 8k range. When looking at their reviews, their reviews seem fake. Two of the profiles I checked were created the DAY they made the review. One of the reviews reads as an AI prompt. When I originally left a review on their Facebook page and Google page, they called my boyfriend angrily to demand we take down our reviews. We said we only do it if we were given our deposit back. We did take down the reviews and were told they would give us our money back in 3-4 weeks. It still hasn't happened. They are now not answering our phone calls and when you look at them on Google, their business is not listed anymore. This is a fake company and they will just scam you. Do not use this company.
