Avoid Alliance Storage at all costs. This is your sign. I only needed a storage unit for two weeks while moving between rentals and was told over the phone that although they don't offer weekly rates, I could pay for a full month and then receive a prorated refund for the unused days, as long as I gave 30-day notice up front. I agreed, gave notice right away, and confirmed that I'd only need it for a couple of weeks. That should've been the end of it. But from the very beginning, this company operated unethically. First red flag: they charged my card before telling me the price or confirming anything. They literally said they needed my card info to proceed, then charged it immediately--without ever asking if I wanted to go through with it. When I confronted them about it, they blamed it on a new employee "in training." If that's true, there should have been a trained staff member supervising the call. Second red flag: when I moved out after two weeks and took photos of the clean, empty unit, they didn't respond for two days. When they finally did, they said they weren't going to check the unit until the end of the month and that I'd be charged for the full month anyway--completely contradicting what I was told and agreed to. I even showed them the text message they sent confirming I would receive a prorated refund for the unused days. I told them that even if they misspoke, they should honor their word and make it right. They refused. No apology. No ownership. Just bad business. This company is raking in money from tenants and providing bare minimum service in return. When given the choice between doing what's right and stealing $100 from a short-term customer, they chose the latter--even after being confronted with proof of their own words. If you're reading this and looking for storage in Bend, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Alliance Storage is unethical, misleading, and not worth the hassle. They charged out the ass for admin fees (clicking a few buttons on the computer) and tried selling me a lock for $20 that you can get for significantly less at Walmart. They lost my trust permanently over a refund they promised and then refused to honor. read more

The guy managing it is as good as it gets but the company itself is garbage. I don't even know where to start. I've had to babysit my bank account because this company continues to double dip on payments but in September they triple-dipped and still have not refunded the money or I should say interest-free loan that they took out on my back. The company recently raised their prices to nearly double what they originally charged me and did not give me any notice regarding this sudden and instant rent increase therefore breaking the law. They simply will not send me a copy of my rental agreement that I have requested so that I can check out their rules and timelines on rental increases but I am getting ignored on that end getting my money back that they stole for an interest free loan for God knows how long now read more

Not accessible for people with disabilities their electronic gate opener does not work and will leave you locked inside the facility having to climb the fence to exit it has needed replaced for about the last three years the owner fails to reinvest any money in the business. he also stores U-Haul trucks at the property and they are strewn about blocking the access to half of the storage units. There are several other storage facilities in Bend that are professionally managed, not dilapidated and accessible for people with a handicap or disability. Filthy disgusting rental truck!! It was obvious that the truck had not been cleaned for several uses. There was an empty Coke can in the drink holder and the inside was so dirty. When we rented the store wasn't open so there was no one to talk with about it. We simply had to climb into that disgusting truck knowing it had not been cleaned for several weeks during a pandemic. OK, here I go. I have been putting off my attempt to be an amazing food critic and I'm gonna start with alliance storage. I have never, in my life, dealt with a better customer service. more than two or three events but here is one for example; I am taking snow tires off of my car to put on regular tires and most storage companies would ask me to do that elsewhere. Well not Alliance Storage! Out came there manager and the very first thing he did was offered me a power tool to put my tires on quickly, wow! He even helped in between customers. There are more stories I can tell you but I sincerely doubt you'll find that elsewhere. 5 STARS !! read more

This little storage facility bailed me out of a pretty tricky situation. I needed to move out in a hurry and nearly every facility that I called, was expensive and full. One phone call to Alliance and soon I had a place to store my gear! The grounds can be a little tricky to maneuver through just like any other storage facility, so keep that in mind if you're bringing a trailer on a busy day. I had two different types of storage units here, the 5X5 and the 5x10. They both keep your possession dry, come with a light, and a lockable door. To get into the facility you must have a security code for extra security. For me, that's all I needed and will be happy to do business with them anytime! read more

My storage unit became infested with mice. We had no food or perishable items but apparently someone near us did. Every thing was covered with mouse poop. My dresser was ruined and so was everything in it since a family of mice had made a nest in 4 of the drawers. read more
