We would ask specific questions about the cabinets and she could not answer. It was a waste of time. They measured our microwave wrong so we do not have a flush microwave. We needed pull out drawers she did not know any info about cost, pricing, or options. Every questions we asked she would smile and say I don't know. 1 Star to the men that came to install 4 hours late, rescheduled twice, showed up to install and basically said they didn't want to work and would come back tomorrow after we waited for them all day. He said he didn't have his tools at 4:30 after working all day and would come back tomorrow. Instead, they showed up at my home and said they couldn't install my countertops until I had a plumber remove the faucets. Then they told me they couldn't remove the mirrors either Of note: neither of these stipulations were included in the contract or the pre-install checklist. I would like to share my horrible experience with Allied Stone & David Weekley Homes, I recently bought a new house from David Weekley Homes which used the 'Allied Stone' company to install the countertops & kitchen island. Within a week after moving into the new house the Seam on the kitchen Island started developing cracks and the joints started breaking apart. We contacted David Weekley warranty and they in turn contacted 'Allied stones' for fixing the issue. 'Allied Stone' addressed the issue and closed it after just applying some sealant to the seam, but in a week's time, the same issue at the same spot started appearing again. Once again we contacted the warranty team and after multiple follow-ups, with them, they took efforts to find out the reason for the issue. The reason being that the seam on the island is placed right above the dishwasher and due to the dishwasher's heat the seam gets expanded which results in the joints breaking apart. After a long wait time 'Allied Stone' came with a solution saying that the island size needed to be reduced so that they could install the island without a seam. In order to do that they came up with a few oversized stone options which demanded us to bear an additional cost as the new options were not at the same level as what I currently have for my island. I am wondering why I need to pay additional money to correct their mistake. Even after paying an upgraded price for the quartz stone with the builder, due to their mistake with the island design and with the stone installation, I ended up with no option other than losing 12" of my island size and on top of it the additional cost for the new stone option. This issue has been going on for more than 4 months now and we have become tired of following up and waiting on them so long. Ideally, by this time we should have been enjoying the new house but this issue has left us with no peace of mind. If there is an option for zero stars, I would give that to both 'David Weekley Homes' and 'Allied Stones' for the way they are handling the issue and for the time they are taking to get it resolved and forcing customers to pay additional money to cover up their fault. read more

I can say that it was a very pleasant experience, Jordan always took care of any issues that I was concerned about. In dealing with those particular issues, it was necessary to call in other experts to come out and address certain details that needed some tweaking. Jordan was always available to me either through text or email. I appreciate his customer service. He promised all would be handled to my expectations, and he kept his promises. A shout out to Cindy Turner for the greatest customer service ever. I called Allied thinking they are the ones who installed my bathroom counters. It turned out they did the kitchen granite not the Bathrooms. Cindy told me she would research and try to find out who did, and get back to me. Next day she left me a message letting me know she was still working on it. She emailed the builder got no answer so then she contacted the purchasing department and had not heard back. She promised to get me an answer. And she did just that. Later that same day she called and left me a message with the company name and phone number. I called them and was able to get my vanities serviced. Wow, who does that? Who goes out of there way to help someone who they don't need to help. Well Cindy did. I am impressed with her and the company she works for. Allied installed the most beautiful leather granite in my kitchen and I love it every day. Don't do it. Here was our experience and this is what it came down to. Evening Lynn DeLeon, I'm writing to you in complete desperation at this point as my husband, nor I, can get a straight answer from Jonathan Schipper. I'm not sure if that is a function of internal operational issues, bad luck or poor communication. Based on your statement earlier this week that you were targeting Friday for install, and Jonathan Schipper saying he's waiting for confirmation we were under the impression this was happening. Only to learn today it isn't. More infuriating is the fact, we know the new slab will be here next Tuesday, but still don't have an install date. This has been an absolutely horrific customer experience. This experience has literally invaded every aspect of our lives. As an example, we're supposed to be adopting a new rescue puppy on Saturday and I am not sure they will give the green light based on the fact we committed the first floor would be completed as it seemed odd to them, we DIDN'T HAVE A WORKING KITCHEN. Additionally, I'm washing tupperware in the bathroom sink or outside with a hose, from food I've cooked at my brother's house as I do not have a functional kitchen. I MENTION BOTH OF THESE AS JONATHAN SCHIPPER COMMITTED THAT UPON OUR 50% DEPOSIT, IT WOULD BE 5 WEEKS TO INSTALL. AS OF NEXT WEEK, IT WILL HAVE BEEN 9 WEEKS. 9 WEEKS LYNN DELEON. The larger issues I have is there seems to be no accountability throughout this process nor proactive communication. Had we been prepped that human error happens, product delays, etc. I could have set expectations for what my life would look like. Two weeks ago, my husband asked Jonathan Schipper if we could cancel our order. Jonathan Schipper said we could but cautioned against as it would take longer than the two weeks it would take Allied Stone to complete our install vs. having our GC install separately. As of tomorrow, it's been THREE WEEKS. I am documenting this journey with Jonathan Schipper and Allied Stone for my own sanity. Day 1 to Current March 29: My husband and I came into the showroom and Jonathan Schipper helped us narrow down our options April 1: We requested pricing for the 4 options we'd narrowed it down to; he was incredibly responsive during this time April 1: We were provided quotes as requested April 2: I had a few more questions on pricing; Jonathan Schipper stated that it would be 5 weeks to install from the time a deposit was made with zero mention of the complexity of cutting/installing porcelain April 12: We decided to move forward with Allied Stone and the QS Statuario Classico Matte; completed the forms April 13: Paid for the 50% deposit (5 weeks would have been May 18th) April 20: First template visit, which lasted 5 HOURS April 21: Had a call with Jonathan Schipper to resolve outstanding questions following the first template visit May 3: We were sent our first look at the slabs May 3: A question on the bar top length was resolved over the phone May 7: A SECOND TEMPLATE VISIT, THAT LASTED ANOTHER 5 HOURS May 10: A THIRD TEMPLATE VISIT, Jonathan Schipper/template guy came to the house and the cut areas needed to be cut on the hood were marked May 10: We received the updated template and JONATHAN SCHIPPER CONFIRMED THAT WE WERE STILL ON TRACK FOR INSTALL ON THE 15TH May 13: My husband requested an ETA on install, Jonathan Schipper stated he was following up, and would get back with us. He did not. I had a worker name jared came out and see the granite and this was the worst customer service I have ever received. I was simply stating what I saw with the granite and he took it as a personal attack and become very rude to me, he was very unprofessional in the way he was talking. He started raising his voice at me as well. I have never seen a grow man act this way. This was ridiculous. I do believe there is a certain level of professionalism this company needs to reach to, especially with their employees. This is very upsetting to have this interaction with this employee. The most unique selection of stone that you will find in Dallas. We looked everywhere for our granite for a over a year. And we looked often to view new shipments that had arrived. We visited the large granite warehouses such as IMC and Stone Channel as well as a number of smaller ones too. Then we happened to run across the much smaller Allied Stone that lived up to the saying "good things come in small packages." We were surprised when we came in to see such a wonderful showroom and we enjoyed the personal attention of their one-to-one consultative sales approach. At Allied Stone we found the most unique variety of super custom granite, marble and onyx inventory anywhere in the Dallas market. And, when we saw our slabs we knew immediately that our quest was over. Later we found out that the reason they have such a great selection is because they have buyers that travel the world to select only the finest, most rare and unique inventory. I had an amazing experience with Allied Stone from the initial contact to the actual service with Joel, who arrived within the timeframe that he stated. Not only did my experience exceed expectations as it related to the actual service order at hand - fixing a preexisting chip on a brand new countertop but also the overall experience in general. Joel went over and beyond to answer all my questions and informed me on the best practices to keep my granite countertops in tip top shape. He explained the importance of using certain types of cleaners, polishes and resealing it every 6 to 12 months. First, you must visit the showroom. We obviously couldn't use every stone they have, but many are breathtakingly beautiful and you must see the material to get some idea of what is even possible. Our professional, Clarissa Rivera, helped design our kitchen remodel and oversaw all work. My wife is extremely demanding -- but by the time we were ready for the installation, she trusted Clarissa enough to let her make many of the decisions on final details. As we were traveling on vacation, Clarissa scheduled the work so that most would be done while we were gone. We suffered almost no inconvenience and returned to a beautiful kitchen. read more

Had really high hopes because our sales person, the showroom and the website all seemed great. However, Jason (our sales guy) didn't know that the quartz we ordered only came in 2cm (we expected 3cm) and had to return one piece to have the edge laminated on so it wouldn't look cheap. It has taken over 2 weeks (which caused my project to come to a halt) and I still don't have my counter top. At the time of the first delivery, the driver ran over and crushed my neighbor's stone fence, which I have to fix. He also laughed at another neighbor that saw them. Today, my fixed counter was supposed to be delivered "some time after 12:30." At 2 pm I emailed without response and at 4:30 I called them and was told it wouldn't be today after all. The girl asked what time tomorrow would work and I said, "8:00 am." Then she laughed and said, "I don't even get here until 8:30 or 9." Bottom line, FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!! We have another $10K in kitchen counters to do (and they knew this) and we will go elsewhere. No laughing matter!!!!! read more

We just had our counter tops installed. A beautiful white Quartz that we saw on display in the show room. We've never had Quartz before so we asked as many questions as we knew to ask. What we didn't know to ask was, Are the seams visible? We were removing 20 year old Corian which had no visible seams at all. What we now have is very expensive beautiful white quartz counter tops with a long ugly seam running through the center of the largest area. It Looks like a scar. Allied did return and tried to fit it but unfortunately were unable to repair it. All they said was ,sorry but seams are visible. It would have been nice to have been informed prior to purchase. Had we known we would have chosen a different stone. They should have at the very least offered us a discount. At a cost of 6,000 one would expect flawless work. I have just completed my second order with Allied Stone and I can't say enough good things about this company. My salesman, Jason, is so accommodating and both he and this company have gone out of their way to make sure our installs are done timely and at our convenience. The first order with them was a gorgeous white quartz countertop for our kitchen island but when the guys came out to install, we quickly realized that our decades-old island would never hold the weight. Instead of throwing up their hands and walking away, they spent time with my husband explaining what kind of island would work best to hold that weight. We had to buy a new (and much needed) island and their company came out a second time, free of charge, to finish the install. When we decided to renovate the master bath, we knew we wanted Allied Stone to install the countertops. Jason, bless his heart, endured every annoying email I threw at him. He responded promptly and usually had any solution to whatever problem I envisioned. Plus, he was nice enough to cut not one, not two, not four but six samples for me take home! This made planning the layout of the new bathroom so much easier. We have two more bathrooms and the rest of the kitchen to do and you can bet we will be going with Allied for those projects. However, what I appreciate most is the great customer service provided by our sales rep, Katie Fleischer. I have worked with her on both personal and commercial projects. On each occasion, she did a great job of helping ferret out the perfect material for the project aesthetic and budget. The other nice thing is that for many materials they will even sell you the slab without having to purchase their installation. There install team did an excellent job, but it's nice to have that flexibility if you are working with a contractor who has the install cost built into their bid. We went to countless stone showrooms. We found most high end places had the same stone just displayed differently. Our general contractor recommended Allied Stone and Cliff Stahl. Best recommendation he made. I give 100 % of the five star rating to Cliff's attention to detail and customer service. We bought a high end granite to which he gave us a good price compared to others. He saw the job through until the end unlike others we purchased our backsplash from that only wanted to secure the sale. A company should stand behind their work. We bought our new home 2 weeks ago. We were wiping down our granite countertop in the kitchen when a chip repair fell out. It was the consistency of brown sugar and left a sizeable chip that is now turning green around the edges. We called our builder, who put us in touch with allied stone. Let me say, THEY HAVE NO WARRANTY or REPAIR department. The girl told me they can not give me a specific time. Their workers will come and repair my granite if they have time after an installation job. I was shocked. I waited all day and the repair guy never called or showed up. I called the company back as asked if they could give me a window of time for the repair person to show up. She said, ok let me try to do a 8am to 12. Didn't show up. Didn't call. Again! I didn't have a very big project (an outdoor tabletop) and was really excited to look at Allied's showroom after seeing their beyond-unique samples on their website. Husband and I are never interested in the typical materials that everyone else has; and I knew in my gut that Allied Stone was the answer. My next concern was my small table project. Would they turn me away for lack of quantity? Would they poo-poo me as just another old lady who couldn't make up her mind? Would they be so expensive that I would be the one to walk away? Cliff was assigned to be my sales rep, and he was brilliant. He was very knowledgable and even indulged my fantasies with using their gemstone slabs. He asked the right questions of what I envisioned. He listened and gave me all the time I needed. At the end he guided me to a gorgeous black granite with large blue/green/peacock flecks. The entire project from meet-&-greet to install went flawlessly even with a last-minute cutting change. Installation team was on time, professional, respectful & happy. So hubby and I now have one incredible, one-of-a-kind outdoor dining table; and the cost was less than typical stuff we found at a nice outdoor furniture place. Communication and aftercare is excellent. I will definitely be back when we need something else. Certainly I will recommend them. read more

So disappointed with this company. Showroom was wonderful and loved how they gave you the prices immediately. However, after we picked out and paid for our slab the customer service was terrible. Our sales person, Katie, promised us the countertop would be installed before we moved into our house. Not only was it not but I had to constantly seek her out to get information. She never once contacted me to let me know of delays. I had to just keep hounding her to find out anything. Then, the holes for the faucet fixtures were cut unevenly. To make matters worse, they promised they would come back out and fix around 12:00 a few days later. Never showed up. The selection and product here is great. I love the look of my granite, but if you're looking for a company that will provide good customer service, this is the perfect place for someone that is not on a budget. My experience was less than wonderful. The sales associate that was supposed to help us was distant and uninformative. She was all to eager to show me items that were out of my price range, but when I said I could not go over a certain level, as according to my builder, she seemed to pull away and act as if I was wasting her time. And even though she was made aware I was working with a builder, she failed to tell me there were only certain granites that builders receive a discount on. I was told by my builder to remain within a certain level, and I looked at the granite in the level I was told. However, because the sales associate failed to tell me I should pick from only certain granites, I settled for one that was not my favorite but in the level my builder suggested. That granite was apparently not part of the choices builders receive a discount on. The sales associate knew I was working with a builder and had my builder's name, but because she either is an uninformed representative or did not care to properly help me find a granite, my budget was hurt. And this company did not take responsibility or try to compromise for their uninformative and unhelpful employee. I have not had a problem with the installation other than the fact that they had to be called back by my builder to install part of the backsplash that had been forgotten. Maybe if I had a different sales representative help me, I would have had a better experience. But I was not happy after my initial visit with Allied because I did not appreciate the rep's distant and indifferent personality toward us. But after learning that not only did she basically ignore us, she failed to tell us vital information which would have changed my choice, I am not sure I will revisit Allied if I decide to change my granite in the future. read more

The only way I would recommend Allied Stone was if it was the only supplier of desired material in the country. From the moment I walked in the showroom, the consultant Fran, left me standing in the lobby I suppose expecting me to know where I was going despite I had never previously been to the showroom. I was left to search the facility for her location. The order was placed. I phoned to provide my credit card number and she was driving so gave the phone to some unknown person to write my credit card number down (I assume on paper) to then provide to accounting. Scheduling install was a nightmare. No one from Allied Stone knew what the other person was doing. The person who answered the phone (eventually) in install sounded intoxicated or asleep. The countertop was delivered and the seams were so poorly cut, it was unacceptable and nevermind it was no where near the CAD drawing provided for my preview and acceptance. Exchanging email messages with Fran about the second template, again another nightmare. Literally, she sent me a CAD template with the veining appearing as a huge phallic symbol. At this point it was comical. Unbelievable how poorly the company is managed. I cannot believe customers who spend significantly more than I did, and can afford to cancel an order accept this complete absence of professionalism. read more

They have a great selection of stones to choose from, and even brought down a slab from their Oklahoma location that we wanted to see before purchasing. I was able to go and plot the templates on the stone for our bathroom countertops. The only issue I had was with the invoicing. My payment for the slab did not get applied to the invoice, but it was quickly corrected. read more

We purchased a very expensive slab of carrara marble for our new home from Allied Stone. Our builder is Our Country Homes and we had no choice but to use this company. It is probably THE worst job I have ever seen (and I have had many homes with exotic granites). They cut the marble to fit and the colors do not match at all, it literally looks like 2 different slabs were used. The cut itself is horrible, it is straight down the middle of the counter-top. Half of the marble is white and the other half is grey. They claim they took a picture of the slab in order to prove that the pieces all came from the same slab, of course they could have used any slab to take their picture. If the pieces are from the same slab, then this is THE worst job in the history of stone installation!! They hide behind the disclaimer that natural stone is just that, and differences and variances are a part of the stone, which of course is true, but when you have 2 pieces that were cut wrong to begin with and then place them side by side and the color of the 2 pieces are so vastly different, you either clearly don't know what you're doing or you are lying. There was obviously no attention given to color matching. If the picture is true and it is a picture of our marble, then whoever cut it like this was a complete idiot and should be fired!!! As I stated earlier they hide behind their disclaimer because they can't and or won't stand behind their products/workmanship. We've had 3 different granite/marble professional look at it and they all literally laughed at it. They said is looks like it came from 2 different slabs. Maybe it is the same slab, maybe its not. Bottom line, the marble looks absolutely horrible and we are NOT HAPPY customers. I cannot and would not EVER recommend doing business with Allied Stone. This company is one of MANY worthless vendors that Our Country Homes uses. But as we have seen throughout this housebuilding process, we are still amazed at the lack of pride and integrity people have concerning their businesses and their workmanship. read more

Their idea of restoration was some acetone. They are just retail sales. They are not restoration specialist. Since they put in crappy counter tops they should have called a restoration specialist. I did not let them near the counter tops. Called a granite restoration company. Great company. They cleaned, polished & sealed the granite. I was told these counter tops were really bad pieces of granite to begin with. Origin of the granite is a big factor. It cost me $460.00 to restore them, which we didn't need after moving in a new home, furthermore the granite is not perfect & will never be. I hope to replace it by going to a granite yard & picking out my own slab. Will stay far away from Allied Stone. Bad granite, bad service. My son bought his granite counter tops from Home Depot.
