I decided to tour some schools anyway, and even before my walkthrough here ended I knew this was the place. The owners and teachers have been in the business for decades. They are all incredibly concerned with how the students are doing and what they're understanding. I love how Alexandar embraces all styles of massage and allows the students to find their own flow rather than memorize sequences. We get plenty of clinical instruction as well as relaxation and spa, making for a well-rounded LMP. I've grown intellectually here, but this school also embraces and encourages spiritual and emotional growth. It's a holistic program that nurtures students and makes sure we have a solid foundation with the business side of things as well. It's truly been an amazing experience learning here. I would recommend the school to anyone interested in massage.

I asked for a female masseuse for my session and they very quickly and respectively accommodated my request :) For the foot massage it's one big room but it's sectioned off with partitions, so you might hear other or see people walking around but I didn't mind or really notice, when the 45 minute foot massage was over they politely escorted us to a more private area to for the body massage. They let us choose our level of pressure for our session (medium or hard massage) The experience was absolutely lovely, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. Stacey's hands felt like they were made of silk and she really focused in on what was asked of her. I called on Saturday and told the girl I needed six gift cards for my staff, could we start the process over the phone. She said no, I had to come in. I told her I would be there before close. I raced across town in terrible traffic, arrived before close, and told her I was there for the six gift cards that had I called about. She then told me she could only sell me two, not 6, after telling me to drove across town to come in. I was not happy. I tried to reason w her. She gave me some line about being new, and about fraud, that two cards is all she could sell. Which you know of complete bullshit. She treated me like I was a criminal bc I wanted Six gift cards, and this was after she told me in the phone to come in. Why didn't you tell me over the phone I couldn't get the Sox gift cards? I never would have come in. What will I do w only two? She didn't care. I begrudgingly purchased two. I then told her I had an hour drive home, could I please use their restroom. And she told me "no, they are for customers!" But I had just dropped $200 on gift cards. I'm a f@cking customer now!! Between this and being made to feel like a criminal, This was the worst customer service experience, I will never go to this place again. Why did I even bother? Don't waste your time. Way to go, new girl. If someone in my front desk treated a customer or patient this way, we would not allow this. This is not how you run a successful business, by making people feel like shit. I regret buying those two cards bc I do not want to give them any business in the future.

Anyway, they have a couple of really good masseuses that I would wait to get because they applied the right amount of pressure and they would remember what areas of my body needed the most work. The owners wife works there and I'm sorry, but she's not that great. If you want a super soft rub down, she's your girl, but if you want or need pressure, don't let him stick you with her because he does some of the scheduling too when they are busy. As far as the place, it's tranquil and very nice. The masseuses wait for you in the hallway and greet you with a cup of cold water and ask you how are you feeling which is nice because I've been to places where they have a water machine and you're on your own. If I had anything thing bad to say, it would be that you don't get your full hour of massage time. The start from the time you walk in the room and they are asking you questions about what areas would you like them to concentrate on and then you change clothes but your hour has already start so that's about 15 minutes gone. I always wear clothes that I can get off quickly and the masseuses I try to get already know what's going on with me so our conversation is very brief. An hour should be an hour from the time they touch your body not from when you walk in the room.
