This entire meal itself is shared/cooked as a group of four, even though your station is for 2 people. You are standing throughout the class and get breaks in between to go check out the store. For example I have done a pastry baking class - Macaroons and croissants. I booked this class for 4 people so it was perfect because we all knew each other and it was a group activity. Since it was four of us we had a row/table to ourselves. *****Each table has two stations, each pair gets a station. So each table has 4 people. ***** For us the baking class was fun because our group of 4 got to be next to each other and work together. ***For baking classes you are able to take leftovers home.*** I have also done a Dinner class - Carbonara pasta, Caprese salad, and tiramisu dessert. This was booked for 2 people to celebrate a birthday for a friend. In this experience of booking for 2 people we had to share the table and ingredients with another couple/pair. When booking for 2, as a date night, the only part that might ruin the vibe of is you are very close to the other group. It isn't intimate and you don't have your own space. The food portions are enough but not super filling. You would be satisfied but you might leave feeling like you have some space for something small. ***Some people do have left overs but the sad thing is with savory classes you cannot take leftovers. You either finish your food or you toss it out. So even if you were full you would be tossing some of your $ away. ****

I came here at mid-afternoon and the store was fairly empty. The employees were helpful, one of them offered to make me an espresso which was quite tasty and powerful. The two employees on the floor kept disappearing and I had to keep calling them over to assist me to find Something or to wrap up a gift for a nominal charge). Parking is $5 unless you park in the free parking garage - just a short walk.

Whether it's a fridge on wheels, disposable plasticware, or a nacho cheese dispenser they really have it all. They have commercial grade fryers, heat lamps, all kinds of specialty cutlery, kitchen apparel (#1), sanitation supplies, massive food scales, and so many interesting things that aren't available in most stores. I have only come away from here for utensils and table coverings, but I could envision so much more. Everything can be ordered online through their website for delivery and pickup. Shipping is surprisingly free and the customer service is on point for both the staff in store and the folks handling the online orders. I think the prices are another selling point as what's advertised online is what will be sold in the store. Whether I need a BBQ grill and metal stools for my next patio event or buffet trays for a special occasion, I know what to expect in the future for this stellar local service. __________ (#1) Chef's hats? You can get cleaning products, keys made, children's clothing, books, toys, accessories, fine chocolates, order invitations/stationary, buy plasticware; plates, silverware, napkins, cookware, glasses, etc etc etc On this occasion I stopped in for a few specific items that I needed for the dinner party I was hosting. I sincerely wished that I had gotten the name of the wonderful man, who was working at Bering's and who immediately began helping me find what I needed to buy. He literally walked me around, asking others who also worked there, where to find these items. Of course we ended up in the right section with a multitude of selections which I truly appreciated. I found what I needed and I was a very happy customer! This person's excellent professional service was extremely appreciated. Next time I'm at Bering's I will try to find him, so I can edit this review and add his name so he gets recognized for his over-the-top service!!!

This is a charity store & the proceeds actually help people if you take the time to read their mission. It isn't Family Thrift or Goodwill. It's sparkling clean & you aren't going to start sneezing from all of the dust. You also aren't going to have to sort through tons of outdated polyester items.Items in the women's section are generally sorted by color & definitely size. There is a designer & a regular section. I wish that I had taken photos of past buys. There is currently a Neiman Marcus fitted men's linen shirt for $15. I love it & wish my S.O. would wear fashionable shirts like that.I'm a birder. I have scored several new with tags outdoor shirts for $10. or under. One was listed at $70. when I used Google Lens. I think that I got a NWT Colombia SPF water type shirt for $10. The original tag said $50. If you want to save money, look cute & HELP a great cause, this place is it. If you are on a very limited budget & cannot afford $6. for a t-shirt, this might not be the place for you. I just got a super cool men's Astros t-shirt for my Astros fan mom for $6. It was listed at $34.99 on the MLB website. I'm not sure what the negative comments are about. If you are really on a budget & don't mind having to sort through lots of stuff, visit the Blalock location. They have much lower prices & tons of stuff including furniture. Just note that a lot of it seems to be from people cleaning out their parent's homes. There is good stuff, but you have to look. They do have a designer section for women in the back of the store. Prices are higher in that area, but everything is the type of stuff that you will find at the Heights location. I assume that the Heights location is simply keeping the items donated from people living in the 1-2 million homes that have destroyed the Heights. I did score a bright yellow new J.Crew sundress my last visit that for some reason wasn't in the designer section & a yellow Loft sleeveless shift. I don't remember what I paid, but probably $12-$15. which was high for the Blalock location. Perhaps they were simply hung in the wrong area by a new employee. On one visit I scored a pair of like new OluKai Hawaiian sandals for $3. The cashier immediately knew that they shouldn't have been $3., but she gave them to me at that price. When I looked them up they were $90 or higher.
