Being there even adds a little light to my day when dealing with pain and the struggles of an injury. The atmosphere is positive and warm. It makes you WANT to be there. To me this is one of the most important things that you could find in a physical therapy facility. The Facility: M & M is the perfect size. It's not too small but it's not too big. I never feel forgotten and I am never left in the room waiting. Staff members are always checking in on me and if they're not in the room with me they are an earshot away. They have all the state of the art equipment for physical therapy along with an in-house gym. It is clean inside, always smells good and always is the perfect temperature. It is very homey and inviting. Again, something that's very important to me in a physical therapy facility. Availability and accessibility: M & M Is great at working with you and your schedule. They have late hours on Mondays and Wednesdays for those who work during the day. They also have early morning hours available. Parking is never an issue and the location is easily accessible. Why is M & M a good fit for me? I consider myself very lucky to have had M & M recommended to me. As a competitive athlete getting injured is the worst thing that could happen to me, Especially since my injuries have been consecutive. M & M makes me feel safe as I recover. They are the push when I need it. They are a shoulder if I need to cry. They are an amazing support system that cares about ME as a whole person. All of the PTs know his name and his own therapists go out of their way to make sure he's comfortable. They even let him use their cell phones to play his favorite nick jr songs, so that he can continue to be encouraged to do his session. They are the best and most kind hearted people. ********Core Fitness********…read more Here is another example of a local business with a myopic view of how to treat a customer. I joined Core Fitness in June of 2019 for a one year contract. I was not told that the fine print authorizes an automatic renewal after the contract expires. So when the gym closed due to Covid, my contract was in breach. The gym re-opened when allowed by the state. I never received another automatic debit from my checking account when they opened back up and I never set foot inside the door due to covid related concerns. I received a call today from the gym telling me that my account was delinquent. It took the gym 9-10 months to call me and ask for money. I explained that my membership was expired and that I owed nothing as well as the fact that I hadn't used the gym. I was told that I owed them $285 dollars anyway. I again challenged the validity of the contract. Again I was told that I owe they money. I will tell every person that I can, not to use Core Fitness. Maybe if the gym had acted professionally and called they're customers after they reopened to see if they wanted to renew a membership during a pandemic they would have had a leg to stand on. Long story short....the bill is paid and I will never set foot in that establishment and I hope that others will not as well. Maggie related that she had made many calls today so there must be many people that they're fleecing for money to pay for all of the renovations. It's shameful to abuse the customer!
