They would know this how?? So I am reposting my original review of ACTUAL experience with this hell hole. If I could rate it any worse I would. Skilled nursing is a joke. No information relayed to family regarding changing conditions nor medications. Patient left in the same clothes for 4 days although their records indicate a bath was given- seems odd they would put dirty clothes back on a patient after bathing..... Patient allowed to deteriorate and it was only due to family intervention patient was removed to hospital with CHF.

My mom was sent to Allied Services on Meade St. in WB after falling and breaking her hip. They did…read morejust about no physical therapy, did not brush her teeth or clean her during her entire 14 day stay. She left with a UTI and completely bedridden, with multiple bedsores. She was supposed to go to Allied to get PT, but she left a complete invalid. Not sure if any companies are better, but Allied was awful in every way. They have one social worker trying to handle over 100 patients. Nurses are caring, but entire system is broken. No doctor involvement, no oversight, no communication at all. After they milked our insurance to the max, they gave us 3 days notice to remove her and sent her home with no hospital bed, no gear, no nursing services (all of which they were supposed to handle through Geisinger insurance). They then ensured they delayed the delivery of the bed and ambulance to be about to add $2440 in charges completely out of pocket. My mom is failing and now in hospice, and I hold Allied mainly responsible. Go somewhere else.

********Core Fitness********…read more Here is another example of a local business with a myopic view of how to treat a customer. I joined Core Fitness in June of 2019 for a one year contract. I was not told that the fine print authorizes an automatic renewal after the contract expires. So when the gym closed due to Covid, my contract was in breach. The gym re-opened when allowed by the state. I never received another automatic debit from my checking account when they opened back up and I never set foot inside the door due to covid related concerns. I received a call today from the gym telling me that my account was delinquent. It took the gym 9-10 months to call me and ask for money. I explained that my membership was expired and that I owed nothing as well as the fact that I hadn't used the gym. I was told that I owed them $285 dollars anyway. I again challenged the validity of the contract. Again I was told that I owe they money. I will tell every person that I can, not to use Core Fitness. Maybe if the gym had acted professionally and called they're customers after they reopened to see if they wanted to renew a membership during a pandemic they would have had a leg to stand on. Long story short....the bill is paid and I will never set foot in that establishment and I hope that others will not as well. The wait time was quick, she was triaged in just a few minutes and being treated just a few minutes after that. The facility is really clean and everything looks new and well taken care of. My mother had been here two times previously in the past week and sent home with a prescription for pain saying there's nothing wrong with her. Fast-forward one week when she is in excruciating pain and we take her to Geisinger community Hospital in Scranton and they found that she has a broken bone in her spine. They also found she has an infection and a couple other issues that need to be addressed, but we're completely ignored and dismissed by the other hospital. We are considering legal action due to the negligence of the hospital, doctors and staff.

However, the complaint I have with PIVIOT is with the billing department. In 2023, I received a bill from PIVOT for over $4,000.00. Upon investigation, I discovered that the claims were never submitted to my primary and secondary insurances. When I questioned someone in PIVOT billing, he said "why bother, its not like your insurance would cover this anyway." In fact, my insurance did cover these services. Early this year, I received a call from PIVOT billing saying that I now had a zero balance and my case was cleared up. I asked for something in writing and the rep said she could not do that, but I should not worry because everything was taken care of. Today a received a bill for $35.00. The bill is from an appointment in July of 2022. Incompetent does not even begin to describe the billing department at PIVOT. I would not recommend them because the billing office will be hounding you for the rest of your life! With everything I have learned the past two years, I might as well go into medical billing myself.
