Gloria has prepared my returns for a long time. It's good to see a face that you know and trust. Their parking lot is adequate and convenient. The building is spacious, modern, and clean. Your taxes are prepared in a private cubical with a desk and a computer monitor that faces you so you can see what is being entered on your tax forms. There's a nice waiting area and a coffee pot with occasional snacks.

I decided to try this business out to do my 2018 personal tax return. I had to go by the location 5…read moretimes to pic them up after I was told they were finished. I received a notice a couple months ago that my taxes were filled out wrong and I owed additional money plus a $53 penalty. OK NP so I paid the extra taxes and penalty. After having my 2018 returns checked by another service and another $20 out of my pocket (I didn't trust ZB at this point) I called ZB up and without asking to see the returns they agreed to mail me a check. That's been three weeks ago. I did get to talk to the owner a week after the first call and was given a good reason it wasn't in the mail but 2 weeks and 2 ignored calls later i'm still waiting and no sign of getting a check. I could easily let it slid but I didn't make the mistake, I got the runaround in 2018 and getting it again. I'd say it's their way of doing business.

Even before choosing Tax Unlimited to switch over to, the folks there were very kind to take the time to answer our questions about small business tax matters. We were very glad when they agreed to work with us on getting our personal and business taxes done - in April. I emphasize this, because it's pretty standard that even as early as February or March, most places are busy as heck.
