The same email explained they would be back in the office on August 18th and to reach back out at that time to continue where we left off. I had no choice since they had all my original tax documents and I could not retrieve them. I waited patiently for this time to arrive. They just returned back to the office at the said time and notified me that since I missed the onboarding call on April 22 that they refused to reschedule, they are not taking on any clients. If you are a high net-worth client like myself, I would avoid this company like the plague. They are unresponsive (as shown below), they lack systems to help when a client cant get into a meeting, they have no issue lying about revisiting your tasks after their promise to do so.

I received a notice a couple months ago that my taxes were filled out wrong and I owed additional money plus a $53 penalty. OK NP so I paid the extra taxes and penalty. After having my 2018 returns checked by another service and another $20 out of my pocket (I didn't trust ZB at this point) I called ZB up and without asking to see the returns they agreed to mail me a check. That's been three weeks ago. I did get to talk to the owner a week after the first call and was given a good reason it wasn't in the mail but 2 weeks and 2 ignored calls later i'm still waiting and no sign of getting a check. I could easily let it slid but I didn't make the mistake, I got the runaround in 2018 and getting it again. I'd say it's their way of doing business.

We were very glad when they agreed to work with us on getting our personal and business taxes done - in April.
