Told me they were going to pull up the brick to the half way point of my patio and re pitch it. They also did a full section around a firepit which I put in earlier. Never saw Steve again until pay day. They pulled 4 rows of brick and leveled them, now my puddling is just further back on my patio. every time it rains I regret ever calling them. Texts were not reply to and now the new part looks a little warped. Nice guys, but Peter comes out to estimate and Paul does the work. Total lack of communication.

Their prices were competitive, they offered good advice for a water management issue I had been having, and they were very patient with me as I attempted the very difficult task of paver selection. Being a single woman, it's common to feel like you're being talked down to by contractors, but that was never the case with these guys. I felt very comfortable with Steve, the guy who comes out to quote jobs, from day one. Once the work began, I met Casey, Steve's son, and their great crew of guys. Casey was just as wonderful as Steve, and their crew of guys were friendly and hard-working. They were very efficient and finished the work at my house pretty quickly, but you would never know how quickly based on the quality of the job and the way they left my property. They left my place looking so much better than before they were here and my patio looks amazing! My only regret is not hiring them to work on the front of my house as well, as the front now pales in comparison to the back! I would not hesitate to recommend or to hire these guys again. They are honest, hard-working, knowledgeable, and overall great guys.

He took the time to come to my home and give me an estimate for some front landscape in a new construction home. Not only was their price very reasonable (it came in between two other quotes), Mike also took his time to explain what to look for in a paver patio and what design elements would fit our vision. He also educated us on the installation process of the patio from the very beginning. Once the construction started, it went much quicker than we had expected. And throughout the process, Mike continued to communicate with us changes that needed to be made based on the elevation of our yard. He always gave us choices on the changes, and we often consulted him on the better choice. Because we were working from home, we were able to observe Mike and his crew working on the patio. It was very clear that Mike took great care with the little details to make the patio perfect. Based on the similar care his crew members showed, it was clear that Mike also imparted the importance of quality work to them. Work quality aside, Mike was also wonderful and respectful from the first time we talked. When we first met, he was kind enough to wear a mask when he saw that I was also wearing a mask. I truly appreciated his understanding in my desire to keep myself and family safe. I also appreciate his effort in learning to pronounce and use my name - it's not something that other contractors even attempted. My wife also enjoyed talking to Mike. Specifically, she appreciated that Mike treated her and I with the same amount of respect. Her experience with most contractors is often unpleasant because they would talk around her or dismiss her questions or suggestions. Mike, however, listened to her input and respected her decisions. We are very satisfied with the result, and more important, we enjoyed our interactions with Mike throughout the entire process of the project. In fact, we have already started talking to Mike about returning at a later time to landscape our front lawn. We would highly recommend MAC Landscaping and Design to anyone wanting someone who values quality workmanship and a pleasant work relationship.
