It's a small store, and doesn't have everything that would you find at JoAnn Fabrics or something like that, but if you're not asking for much and wanting to support a local business, there's no other place to go but here. The store has plenty of different fabrics to choose from, including scrap squares for sale. I also noted a wall of yarn and a decent selection of fleece. I came in here just to look and ended up leaving with a few yards of fleece after finding the perfect pattern for a blanket I wanted to make. The price per yard of fleece was about the same, perhaps a dollar or two more than big box chain stores. I didn't mind. And the best part? I live so close to this store that I can walk here. Uh oh. Dangerous for my wallet. Also, to enter Tay's Cloth Peddler, you actually have to go through Van Hook Hardware first and enter through the side door between the two businesses. I think they're both owned by the same people. The woman that assisted me with fabrics was the same woman that assisted me in the hardware store awhile back.

So here's a re-post of the same review which applies to THIS address/location.] Movie Warehouse is tucked in a strip mall between a liquor store and Pizza Hut. Get some booze, pizza, and movies -- you're good for the night. You can rent recent releases, older films, and video games. The collection of older films is quite small, but there's a few gems here. Mainly, I just see a lot of recent movies available. Around the shop are some used movies for sale, too. I haven't really paid attention to rental prices because I haven't paid the few times I've been here, but I heard about $3 a night. I think that's a bit high, but perhaps Redbox has me spoiled? What I find odd are the tanning beds. The tanning beds themselves aren't odd, but mixed in with a movie rental place? What? I guess you can bake a bit before grabbing a flick for a night in. I believe I saw about four or five tanning bed rooms and packages are about $20-30/month. Don't know anything beyond that. I'm more of a Redbox/movie from the library kind of person, but it's nice to have a rental place with more movie options. Plus, Monday nights are rent one, get one free. Good deal there.

They have a nice selection of bows, handguns, and long guns. They have lots of bows from PSE, Bear, and others, along with many bowhunting accessories. The gun selection is fair, not the best. They don't have many gun accessories either. They have a small selection of ammo too, and it used to be decently priced, but not once things started getting scarce. I almost vowed never to shop there again when I saw Tula .223 ammo going for 3 times the price of other places. The last straw though was when I went there this week. They had bulk packs of .22LR ammo for $80. 80 freaking dollars for a box of ammo that should cost between $15 and $25. I immediately walked out, and will not return. This type of price gouging is unacceptable, even in the current market. I'll take my money to places that limit quantities rather than jack up the prices to astronomical amounts, thank you very much.

My sister's pants were too small and when she attempted to return them she was told that they do not do returns. At no time were we told this when we shopped at the store in Midway. She asked if she could at the least exchange them for something else and the clerk told her that her supervisor said no that she could not exchange or get a store credit. This is extremely poor business and they have not only lost my sister as a customer, but I no longer plan on returning. I will also let other contacts know that this place of business is not ethical and treats customers poorly.
