These guys on Bronson have replaced screens and batteries on various cell phones (iPhones) over the years. Always fast, inexpensive and personable with character. They have standard rates, but will often offer a deal, too. So glad they are in the neighbourhood, because we all know that when something goes wrong with our phones we need to have them fixed ASAP. He was true to his word, and was able to put on a new screen protector and picked up a new case all within the time I was originally told. They guys are awesome, I had a tribunal hearing with my landlord and the screen broke on my phone the afternoon before and everything I needed was on there, I didn't think I would be able to get it fixed in time, I went to several places and was told it would take a day or 2, I stopped at there location on bank street and they were able to fix it within 2 hours, the guy even drove over to there other location to get the part for me. Great job at a very far ir price! They changed the screen of my iPhone 8 Plus in only 25 mins. The store is really centric, close to the Glebe and Downtown. You can park in McDonalds which is only 2 blocks away from the shop. The store is a bit messy and the owner should work on that right away. read more

The negative nancy that took his time, wrote a 1 paragraph, non-indented, horribly sentenced and barely APA style essay, is guaranteed to be an isolated incident. Let me share with you what customer service I experiences by going to Allo Allo Wireless. My Nexus 5 screen broke down, brought it to the Allo Allo. Upon entering the store, I overheard a customer saying that his phone was not in working condition etc. etc.... Mr. Skricantha (owner) was humorous and told the guy that the phone was not functioning properly prior to the screen repair and didn't even charge the customer. Do I really think he is out here to rip people off out of their money? evidently not. Yes I am aware that the screens might cost 30-50$ (for iPhones), but how are you going to fix it yourself; there is the risk of damaging the motherboard and spending countless of hours doing something blindly and having a poor result. I would be more then willing to spend the extra 50$ knowing I am getting the labor done for me. Oh and also, the most important factor, its business; HE HAS TO MAKE MONEY, that's the circle of life, get used to it. If you want to fix it yourself, then do not go around to stores hoping to get it done for less than 100$. Its like expecting to buy the parts of an 2014 Audi A4 and assembling it yourself for less than $10 000 and not wanting to pay a penny more for a new one from a registered dealer. Oh, and let the man do his work, its meticulous and I'm sure you would not want someone looking behind your back while you are doing the same thing. Anyways back to my story. So Mr, Srikantha lets me know that the repair was going to cost 175$. I didnt hesitate to put it in his hands. Sure you might think it is pricey, but to put things in perspective, the kiosks at St. Laurent, Rideau wanted upwards of 250$. 75$ in my pocket, and as a student that's a night out with the buddies, a nice meal with my mom and in a savings I made by going to Allo Allo. For those who don't know, the Nexus 5 screen is hard to replace, and I would never dare attempt to do the skilled labor it requires to fix it by myself. As the specific parts were not available immediately and my phone would be with him for 4-5 days, I was shocked when he offered me a phone to use in the meanwhile. I was ecstatic, not only did I safe 75$ but I was lent a phone to be able to keep in contact with loved ones, friends and be able to have access to a cellular network (which is pretty much essential in 2014) while my own phone was in repairs. Quite frankly, If that is not the definition of prestigious customer service, than please enlighten me. I will recommending the store to everyone I know, and my family will be going to see Mr. Srikantha whenever we have technical issues and in need of cellphone repair. I had my Samsung Galaxy s4 screen replaced here just before Christmas as a gift from my parents. When I went in the guys were super friendly and the price couldn't be beat. The turn around time was fast and apart from the loaner phone they lent me I had a good experience. Until I got my phone back. The screen was not fitted properly and was raised above the bezel. I brought it in the next day and the attendant told me I was right but that he wasn't going to do anything about it and that everything would be fine. Not even two weeks later I dropped the phone literally a foot distance and the corner of the screen that was lifted above the bezel cracked. Not to mention that the phone was in a case that I bought from them when I got the screen replaced. I went in and talked to the same attendant, who had previously assured me everything was fine, and he said there was nothing he could do to help me. He wouldn't even give me a deal to help replace the two week old screen. In short although the guys were nice and the price was cheap I got what I paid for. Spend a little extra somewhere else and get the job done properly. You will be dissatisfied with the workmanship and quality of the product. read more

Hi: I nervously took my recently eBay purchased iPhone 6 that got dropped in water. The phone did not receive calls properly post mishap. The technician bathed the motherboard in a machine and reported rust around SIM card area. Made complete sense. Works great again! What really is telling is the repair technician was so sincere and dealt with me professionally despite my untrusting attitude which turned out to be unwarranted. Thank you. As in the past I had gotten good, timely and inexpensive cell phone servicing at Allo Allo on Bronson, when I needed to upgrade to a newer phone I decided to check out what they might have. On the Internet I had narrowed down my search to one of several versions of Samsung Galaxy phones and I was aware of their pricing on Kijiji and at some of the dominant used phone dealers in Ottawa. While Allo Allo did not have a flashy show room or a wide selection of phones, Marko did show us a handful of different phones that met my requirements. They were in excellent condition and $50 to $70 below what I was expecting to pay based on the pricing I had seen elsewhere. My wife, who was with me, was so impressed with the features and value that she decided to upgrade her old iPhone to a newer Samsung, and we both purchased phones there. That was several weeks ago, and we are still pleased with the choices we made and the price we paid. I was expecting that after choosing our phones, we would be pressured into buying expensive accessories. My new phone had been in an Otter case and Marko removed it, carefully cleaned the phone, installed a screen protector and put it back in its case. He also cleaned my wife's new phone and suggested she pick up a $15 flip case at the other store, as he didn't have the exact one she needed on hand. He gave us both chargers and we ended up paying only the purchase price of the phones, nothing extra. Perhaps he was in a generous mood that day, but I was both pleased and impressed. I plan to return to Allo Allo whenever I need phone service, as I feel their staff are experts in phone technology and will give effective, well-priced no-nonsense service. read more
