Keyshawn and his crew showed up late almost every day of the 3 days they came out. Always had an excuse to why they couldn't make it to my house at a reasonable time. This in turn caused them to cut corners including not digging deep enough trenches and not thoroughly checking all their work before leaving. We had all of our downspouts connected and ran behind our property to a creek with 2 French drains installed, one on each side of the house. Before the job was accepted, I made it very clear that we were doing this so we can have a nice backyard and side yards with sod. There was a means to an end, we wanted our entire yard full of grass and not constant water flooding everything. So their solution was to dig shallow trenches and add little tiny pea gravel as the rock you under and over the pipe. They did not include fabric to keep all the other soil, sediment, and debris from mixing with the tiny gravel and clumping together to not allow water to travel freely down to the pipe/drain which is how a French drain is designed. The landscaping company who attempted to run the sod cutter (which only cuts 2.5 inches deep at the most) cut into the corrugated pipe almost at the surface the next day after their install was "complete". This was the 2nd time they came out to fix all of their issues. And they didn't fix much of it. They lowered the pipe at the far end of the yard going under the fence to the creek but didn't dig up any other pipe to see how superficial it was. This caused the piping behind it closer to the house to raise up even higher. News flash: water can't travel uphill on its own. When another company dug up the trenches, they were appalled. There were gashes in the corrugated pipe from when they came back out to dig up the trench. There was standing water in the trenches from the Backflow because the water couldn't travel up to how high the pipes were set in the trench. They used corrugated the pipe with slits/holes in it at the end of the pipe run so basically water could escape underground. I can't even bring myself to list how terribly this install was done. I called a drainage specialist and listed off the exact way things were installed and completed by Baileys and this guy couldn't actually believe what he was hearing. My landscaper who was laying the sod had to dig the trenches all over again at an appropriate level. And they had to redo the downspouts as they were less than half an inch from the surface for the first few feet away from the downspout. When the trench was dig up, the very little pea gravel they used, had mixed completely with all the soil around it and there were ZERO voids for water to travel in a fluid manner to the French drain pipe. The day these guys finished, it rained heavily. One of the downspouts they fixed with pipe used the wrong connector piece. So we had the yard flooded with water because Keyshawn said he thought his other workers saw how he did it and thought they would be able to do it right. Wow. Really? Needless to say, from the way the estimate was written out (it makes no sense) from the late arrival of the crew every day to the laziness of the crew to actually double check their work to dealing with Randy who thinks checking Google to see how something is done is silly and not acceptable. You can search how to do a French drain ANYWHERE and you will never get instructions to complete the task in the same way this company did it. It was wrong on so many levels and they refuse to admit it. After my concerns were voiced before, during, and after the install, they acted like nothing they could do would make me happy and told me to keep the remaining balance that was due for the project. What they don't realize, is nothing they did improved my house and yard at all, and if anything made it worse. Find another company for anything else you need repaired.
