Joe came out, took a look what was going on, and gave me an estimate that was identical in scope but half the price of another estimate we received so we opted to go with Eames and Sons. Joe was fantastic to work with and kept me up-to-date on scheduling of the entire process, from dropping off a trailer for the old roofing materials, dropping off the new materials, the actual day of work, etc. The Eames and Sons crew came out, did the work in a single day, and then Joe came out the next day for an inspection. Joe noticed some of the work wasn't up to the Eames and Sons standards, so he had someone from the crew come back out and redo it and then came back out the same day to check on the work again. I also noticed that some of the mortar between bricks near some of the work seemed to now be missing and he came back out on his own time to fill in the gap. Eames and Sons, and specifically Joe, definitely went out of their way to make sure our roof was perfect and that I no longer needed to worry about the leak we found. This was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend others use Eames and Sons for their roofing needs. EDIT: I noticed some damage to a window screen after the dump trailer was moved away. Joe fixed the screen himself and sent someone else out to take care of some of the metal around the window as well. Eames and Sons has gone above and beyond what I expected and they have set a very high bar for any work that gets done around our house in the future.

They were able to do the full roof replacement on my little house and some work on the detached garage all in one day (faster than expected). They replaced the chimney and vents with pieces that look a million times better. They went above and beyond in their work (craftsmanship, scope, and quality), and I can't spot one flaw. The team was so friendly and professional, and they get bonus points for being extra nice to my dog (they made her day). All that and they managed to stay in budget, and left the entire property spotless. You don't get that sort of performance without a great leader, so extra points for Eric and his management of both the work getting done and the clients. When I complimented him on this, he gave all the credit to the great crew, which is just another sign that he's a good leader. I was so nervous because I've heard so many roofer horror stories, but my experience is that there is at least one great one out there (Benedict). I'll be using them again in a few years for the garage and definitely will be recommending them in the meantime to anyone that I hear needs a good roofer!

We immediately fell in love with the professionalism of Bob at the meeting and wanted to schedule him and his crew right away. Bob and his Wife were very communicative, and very easy to work with! They were VERY close if not spot on with (maybe even early) with our scheduled estimated date of install!! WOW. Bob and his team were very organized and clean during the installation. You really had no idea roofers were there when they left for the evening accept for the organized materials left to resume the next day. When the job was completed, Bob made sure we were happy with the installation, and his team cleaned up SO WELL. I could not believe how clean everything was when they were done, and Bob took the time to look it over with us before he was the last one to leave the site. Also, Bob was able to inspect the whole roof for leaks and found a soft spot for us before it was a problem and replaced the wood. It's been 2 years since they did my neighbors roof. I live in a townhome so our homes are…read moreadjacent. They did not account for the 3-story height of the home as they threw shingles off and they landed on my newly powder coated (offsite) front steps all the way to my front door, and on a brand new deck and new patio table and chairs. I'm writing today because I noticed my painted metal patio table and chairs that were all scratched as a result of flying metal and shingles (as was my newly painted front railing) are showing premature wear as a result. My sandstone steps also had black marks from landing shingles. When I spoke to them about all the debris and damage they all but suggested it wasn't their fault. They asked me to email photos which I did and never heard back. I was too upset to pursue any further action at the time. One thing they did do was show up the next day unannounced and started sanding the black marks off my front sandstone steps. When you see the photos keep in mind they were working next door not at my home!!
