This is a horrendous agent who offers no help, and proceeds to only give terrible comments towards…read morecustomers. So let's start off with this: when we first got our policy at the beginning of last year in January, I unfortunately had purchased a lemon of a vehicle not knowing in April and it proceeded to end up needing to be removed from our policy. I called in April to have this vehicle removed and when I was able to talk to someone I was given the information about it'll be submitted for review to be removed. I proceeded to call this agents office again in May and again in June and again in July, always leaving messages and voicemails, submitting emails. I ended up making over payments on this policy for several months. After I had called and left messages for four months to have this resolved and removed from our policy I still was told it's under review. I called in October to figure out why we haven't received any information regarding this issue, I was not able to get an answer from anyone and I left messages and I emailed. Fast forwarding to January of 2024, I finally made another attempt at calling this office and I was finally able to get ahold of Penny Hubble and this is was now in January 2024, I was told by this agent that "mail was sent out". This mail that was supposedly sent out was regarding the cancellation of my policy and that was back in October. So, come to find out I was without car insurance for four months. The only applicable reason for cancelling our policy was because we used our roadside assistance to much, to further explain this was only three times it was used. Penny Hubble then proceeded to tell me "it's not their fault we don't have working vehicles." And proceeded to hang up on me. Another reason for terminating our policy is because of my husband's record and a little accident bumper to bumper scratch in a parking lot. Mind you my driving record is in good terms, never had a vehicle violation, accidents. But let's go ahead and not try for communication or anything and just cancel their policy. Without knowing my policy was cancelled in October, for four months, is extremely dangerous and negligent on their part. I never received mail, or a voicemail or even an email. I have two young children and thank goodness my self or my husband did not get into a car accident. This is something that is not uncommon unfortunately because 3 months ago there was another issue regarding someone else and their policy was never changed or anything but they still accepted payment and they had no coverage either without notice. I would stay away from this agent. They never returned phone calls or emails. They never answered any questions but only answered with nasty and aggressive comments. But regardless of the reason for wanting to have this vehicle taken off of our policy they failed to do so for four months, and proceeded to still accept payment from us for four months. And to proceed to then cancel our policy without notice three months later and when we try to call to gain any information I am told it's not their problem and it's not their fault we don't have working vehicles. Under these conditions they managed to disregard our safety as customers and their family members.

We had our home, several auto policies and two motorcycle policies with SF. Over the past two years, we were never able to talk with or meet Penny Hubble. That is even with several requests as we had policy increases and changes that needed to be addressed. The staff in the office would try to help but lacked in knowledge and communication skills as well. I would recommend, if you have to stay with SF, try a different office to do business. There has to be better customer service in other locations - although, still shop the cost of coverage with SF. We found several options available but were reluctant to move as we had a long-standing relationship with SF. Wish we had moved sooner.
