They came out, did an inspection and advised her she needs a new unit, quoted $18K and insisted she signs the paperwork immediately. When she took advice from others and called other companies that have fantastic reviews she was quoted $10K over the phone, same install and unit. One company advised they would like to come out and diagnose the issue instead of just quoting a new unit based on a diagnosis from another company. They came out and they found the issue and she didn't need a new unit and got it repaired for minimal expense. It's been working great for the last 6 months. Do not trust Aireserv - read reviews and get more than one diagnosis and quote. This company is sneaky and taking advantage of elderly people. I have read several reviews on many sites for Aire Serve now and see where they mis diagnose on many requests and go right to needing a new unit. I am writing this review from my perspective so people know what kind of company they are dealing with. I waited a while because I wanted to make sure her repair would last and it has.

They didn't fix it & it didn't work. We decided to call Jungle Cat Heating & Cooling. Matt was very prompt & courteous! He diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed the issue. He stayed until he knew the heater was not going quit on us again, which would indicate a deeper problem. We had a functioning heater that day & it's still going strong! Price was great & well worth paying out of pocket to not only have a working source of heat (given that it's been in the 30s at night lately) but to also support a local business! We signed the contract in June with an anticipated start date of September 1st '23. We were told that the entire process usually takes a few days to a week but since we were doing a partial rebuild it may take an extra week. They finally came to do the demo and cabinets on September 25th. James did a great job with the cabinets and was very friendly. They are beautiful. The day James set the rebuild, the countertop people could have come to measure. I called my contact at HD, Heather, everyday and she kept telling me they were going to call to set up the measuring. Nevada countertops Finally made contact with me after I had to get nasty with Ryan, the district installation manager. A week after the cabinets were set, they came to measure for the countertops. The kid who measured said 4-6 weeks. I complained greatly to Ryan and at least got my sink hooked up temporarily. Amazingly, they were able to bring the countertops 2 weeks later rather than 4-6. The plumber they sent to disconnect the sink, delta mechanical, smelt like an ashtray but he did his job. However, the appointment to reconnect was made at the same time and was for Friday between 3-5. I made special arrangements to be home. She called at 430 to say he could not make it but would be there tomorrow(Saturday) between 3 and 5. Shouldn't I have been the first appointment? Well, they flaked out on that appointment also. My husband hooked the sink up so we could be done with this fiasco. So yes, the cabinets are great and the countertops look nice but Home Depot admittedly contracts with some mediocre businesses (Nevada countertops and delta mechanical). Do NOT contract with Home Depot. They want you to pay upfront which is the first red flag. That way, you are at their mercy. This is the 3rd kitchen I have had remodeled and I have never had such a stressful experience. Find a contractor and NEVER pay the full amount up front.
