Whitney Pangburn is the Sales Executive for our accounts at United Way of the Greater Capital Region. We just moved out accounts to Marshall & Sterling this fall and Whitney and her team did a great job in transitioning us. One of the members of our staff decided to opt out of our offerings and go directly to CDPHP and sign up with her husband for a Managed Medicare Plan. She was notified that her husband did not have credible prescription drug coverage almost 10 years ago and he was going to be charged a substantial penalty for the rest of his life. We were not having much success in working with the various health insurance carriers to come up with the necessary information to satisfy what CDPHP was looking for. Once we called Whitney for some help on how to further our efforts, she stepped up and went way above what we could have ever expected or hoped for. Whitney reached out to her many contacts in the industry and kept myself and our staff member informed and updated throughout the process. After a great deal of effort on her part, she was able to identify which insurance carrier was insuring our employee at the time in question and was able to have them write a letter that satisfied the requirement that CDPHP was looking for. We learned yesterday that CDPHP has received the letter and they will not be charging a penalty due to a lack of Creditable Coverage from almost 10 years ago. I felt that it was important to let someone know what a lasting positive impression this customer service experience has made on me and our staff. Oh what a horrible experience with AAA Northway. Called for tow for vehicle was told it would take…read more2 hours to get someone. The customer rep was rude and show no empathy. Hung up on me. I had to call back to make sure that my service was entered. Told it was and would get text messages with updates. Not one update given. My insurance company had a tow to us within 30 minutes. Called and canceled AAA. Over an hour later phone rings its the AAA driver looking for my vehicle. They never canceled the call. What a horrible experience. Why am I paying for the best service when all I got was the worst. Definitely bot worth the money I pay. I recommend no one get AAA
