Fortunately…read morefor me, my homeowners insurance company was going out of business and I needed a new policy. When I called DKM they asked me to fax them the letter I received. They told me not to worry, they will get me another policy. I never heard from them again. I kept calling and leaving messages and after 5 unreturned calls I went looking for another agency. I found an agency with excellent reviews and within 3 days I had a new policy at a savings of almost $7000 a year. I found out that DKM had been over insuring me. They insured my home for the selling price when it should have been insured for the rebuilding price which doesn't include the land. Due to their dishonesty and my stupidity, I was overcharged almost $7000 this past year. It makes me sick to think of the total amount I lost during the past 20 years. For your sake, look elsewhere for homeowners insurance. I am thrilled that I found an honest agency after reading many excellent reviews. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
