So, I called IIS to cancel and stop the automatic premium withdrawal. Mr. ? said he would let Dan Grossi know, but, Dan never called. Back on the phone to speak with Mr. Grossi, who said he requested a "form' from my ins. company, but 2 days had passed, no form. Fast forward 5 days. No cancel form sent to me from Dan Grossi. Then I emailed Mr Grossi with another request. No response. A week passed since my first cancel request. The withdrawal was at my doorstep, so I contacted the above insurance company directly. They stopped the withdrawal and canceled my policy in 10 minutes. The person I spoke to said, "apparently your agent, doesn't know how to do this." I agree. First call was referred to Dan Grossi. Second call, Dan said he was still waiting on this form? Third email contact ignored completely. Fourth call by me yielded a fix in 10 minutes. The above shows incompetence at its finest and customer service at its very worst. VR

Worst insurance agent I've ever had…read more * He entered my property address wrong in the system, so for the entire time I had that rental property insurance, I wasn't sure whether or not claims would actually be covered. He assured me it was just an insignificant error that wouldn't affect things, and he would correct it, but he never did. * When I sold my home and no longer needed insurance, I contacted him to cancel. HE NEVER RESPONDED. Ever. I tried emailing him over the State Farm system multiple times. No response. Called him; no answer, no response to my multiple voicemails. When I contacted State Farm corporate to complain and ask to cancel my insurance, all they could do was direct me to contact my agent to cancel. That agent was Casey Whitmarsh who never responded to my many cancelation requests!! I ultimately had to use the online system to switch to a different agent so that SHE could cancel my account. I've never been so frustrated. * My car lease ended and I got insurance on my new car from Progressive, which offered a MUCH better price (like half the cost). I called Casey Whitmarsh to cancel. Yeah, guess what. No response. I had to send a certified letter to State Farm corporate to direct them to cancel. Casey was friendly when I first set up service. He got me some "discounts" by having me sign up for multiple kinds of insurance. But something was always a little bit off about the guy. He would talk my ear off like we were buddies; we're not buddies, dude. I just want cheap car insurance. I don't want to be pals. It took forever to get off the phone with him. It's ironic that years later, I would do anything for Casey to actually pick up the phone when I *wanted* to talk to him. Horrible, horrible, horrible. My husband and I had the opportunity to meet with Isabel Cooper the director of financial planning at this firm. Our meeting was over an hour long. She was personable, warm, knowledgeable, and professional. At the end of the complimentary session we inquired about payment, tips etc. and were surprised to find that she didn't accept. I would highly recommend her.
