    Wendy provided a competitive quote and I signed up for a new Home Insurance policy. This was my…read morefirst time doing business with Wendy and Allstate. Allstate sends a inspector to inspect the exterior of the home. The Inspector will measure the 4 boundaries of the house, count the doors, windows and confirm the front elevation of the house (brick, siding etc.) Based on this inspection, in October 2017, I got an amended Policy. This was bad news. Allstate had raised my annual premium by 14%. This came as a total surprise. There was no advance notice or email from Wendy Moore. To make matters worse, the amended policy was full of errors. For example, the Policy stated: -Ceiling height is 8 feet (actual is 9 feet) -2.5 bathrooms (house has 3.5 baths) -Incorrect square footage I sent an email to Wendy listing the errors. She hit the forward button on my email and sent it to Corporate. To make a long story short, it is now May 2018 and my Policy is still full of errors. Wendy did not help me in correcting the errors. I did get a phone call from "Allstate Customer Resolution" team member. However, they were no help and just repeated the Corporate talking points. Overall, I had a very BAD experience with AllState and Wendy Moore. I am now looking for a new Insurance Policy. My strong preference is to cut out the middle Agent and deal directly with the Company i.e. the GEICO model.
