Way to ruin a long-term customer relationship I had with State Farm. It's not like I don't have choices. This guy just works from home by himself since when you call no one ever picks up and then he might call you back later from his cellphone, but usually just ignores your voicemail. He doesn't seem to be able to make any policy corrections quickly (or at all) like other State Farm agents can, and he just does nothing. I've been with other State Farm agents who not only have an office, but can put in policy corrections pretty much immediately, which triggers an updated rate and bill. But with Nima Rad, I'm going on a month and he has done nothing for me at all. You would think he would want the insurance policy to be correct, and get it corrected ASAP, but instead he's just stalling making the corrections probably hoping that I will forget about it and needless pay more money. I only drive like less than 5,000 miles a year yet on my latest bill, he put that I drive over 15,000 a year. And now I can't seem to get him to correct this error. I've had it with this and have sent noticed to the corporate office about it and also am closing all of my multiple policies with State Farm. Good riddance.

I first encountered Alan…read moredouble digits years ago when I first moved to California, single with nothing to my name except a car that needed insurance. Alan was patience, thoughtful and spent the time helping me understand various coverages, how they work, and analyzing what would be the most economical for me. Rarely do you find any professional/agent who has the patient and compassion to work with someone who is just utterly confused by the system all the time. And back then, it was just a simple car coverage. Since then, as I have grown up and my needs have changed, Alan has been my go-to guy for all my insurance needs (vehicles, homes, life, etc.). During these years, there has been stressful times where Alan has been there for me and my family, he is always reliable and having him during these times made everything easier. For example, there was once a car accident where I was hit by another car. He helped me through the claim process, and would be on calls with me talking to various parties to make sure I got through the process. The result, I was very satisfied by the compensation. Another example would be when we were purchasing our home. Due to the circumstances, we needed Alan to continually provide proof of insurance to multiple parties that kept changing various items that impacted the coverage. Alan was timely in responding and patience in dealing with the request. (It really was an insane amount of edits, and each minor edit was a lot of work for Alan). I highly recommend him!

On top of that, the staff are always changing and don't know wtf they are doing and will be happy to argue w the frustrated customer. Will definitely switch to different Stare Farm agency OR possibly switch to different company. I suggest you do the same - look for different SF agency or try other companies and definitely skip this WOO.

When I wanted to change a property to a multi unit rental, Andre dropped the ball and never really got my policy changed back in August 2020. I dont hear anything from them until I get a letter at the end of May from my mortgage company saying that they will buy insurance and charge me because I don't have insurance on the property. I freak out and call his office to explain and complain about the situation. She gets flustered and has the gall to say 'so you want to cancel your policies?' What?? I finally get in actual contact with Michael and he says I have to get an apartment policy because it 3 units. He sets me up with a monthly autopayment for all policies. And I think all is well and smoothed out. I go to refi, a girl from his office calls to verify because another mortgage company is calling for info. She tries to look up my policy and cant find it! She says it looks like it was cancelled without a reason shown. I tell her about the failures before and ask how come there was no word from their office when this was cancelled. She said she will look into and get back to me later that day. No word for a week, so I email Micheal asking what is going on? No reply, no call, nada. My loan officer reaches out via email to his office with me cc'd. I text him on his personal phone and ask what is going on? I email specifically that I want him or Julia to handle this situation and not Andre. What does he do? He has Andre call me and I let Andre know the whole situation and how I have no faith in him to do his job. During our conversation, he tells me he doesn't know why Michael set me up with an apartment policy and it should be 2 separate policies because there are 2 different structures. He says that he should have it in that day. I said that we'll see having no faith in him. I specifically told him to email me only because nothing gets done without having them put in where its recorded. And of course he didn't get it done until a few days and my mortgage company force me to buy their expensive insurance. So really to try to get a correct policy from their office took over a year. Needless to say I am no longer a client. I got an agent that actually follows up with calls and detailed emails. Not only that, the correct policy with higher coverage was 1000 less than what Micheal set me up with. So I pretty much paid 500 more for the incorrect coverage he charge me for a few months and the expensive insurance my mortgage company forced on me. Key Advice: Get a different agent. Get different quotes even with other State farm agents as you can have different agents for different policies. If you do choose/stay with him, get everything in email or text or whatever you need will most likely get forgotten.
