When the AAA adjuster arrived, he used a moisture meter and claimed there was "no moisture in the walls," suggesting we could simply redo the garage and upstairs, paint the downstairs, and settle the claim in a week. I knew this was completely inadequate -- the fire department had sprayed over 10,000 gallons of water into the attic, and the house was not safe to re-rent. I left the meeting feeling defeated. Shortly after, Jonathan from Apex Adjusting reached out. He explained that he was a public adjuster who would fight for a fair settlement on my behalf. After meeting him and doing my research, I was confident in moving forward with Apex. What stood out most was that Apex brought their own team of professionals -- including structural engineers, estimating companies, and soft demo crews -- to thoroughly document the full extent of the damage.
