I was referred to this agency because I was seeking better coverage for my waterfront apartment. I was given an initial policy quote which I accepted. Several weeks later I was contacted by telephone and told that the liability portion of the policy had to be increased in order for Allstate to write my policy and I accepted this increase. I provided my bank information at that time for automatic payments. I was out of the country for a few weeks from the middle of July till sept 1. I was greeted upon my return with notices of cancellation of this insurance policy. During my absence not a singe telephone call or email was sent by the agency stating that Allstate would not accept my property for insurance coverage and they actually billed men$33.39. I contacted them And they said they would review what happens and they did but what I sound out was that they cancelled my coverage because of a rejection from Allstate without explanation and then proposed still another insurance quote which I did not accept. Then they put the amount of $33.39 in for collection with a collection agency. I called them and they said that amount was for insurance coverage until they cancelled my policy. Very un professional! Don't go near this agent. I signed and paid the first installment for the policy. 4 months later I looked up my insurance cards and I didn't have any. Turns out they never activated the policy and my money was still being held. I contacted the agency and it turns out I didn't have insurance for those months, but they activated the policy retroactively and took the money instead of refunding it. I cancelled and they are still debiting my account. I have contacted the PA insurance commissioned but haven't heard. read more

Continue to send birthday cards , Christmas cards and phone calls to my deceased husband of over 18 months. Calling his cell phone and leaving messages is the best one. I TOLD THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO PLEASE STOP. Yet they still continue to do so. The worst insurance company ever. Not to mention never returning the call of a living person. read more

I wish I can give this agency a 0 star. This is the most unprofessioal agency I have ever dealt with. I was very happy with allstate while the agency was under the previous owner, Nestor Morales. Once the agency changed owners to Brandon Vanderbeck it went downhill from there. I decided to change my insurance provider and I communicated this to the agency by phone, email and even fax. Despite my request to cancel my plan, they continued to call and email constantly. I also asked them to stop that and they did not. Despite my NUMEROUS cancellation requests. Allstate decided to ignore all of my request to cancel my policy and instead, a month later automatically charged my bank account close to $1,300. As a professional myself, I have not seen more shady tactics. read more

I called today to ask a few simple basic questions about my policy and instead at first i got a lady who did not know any answers to any of my questions. 1) How much is my monthly policy? 2) what is the $4 extra charge fee? 3) why is there a $20 fee on my new statement? 4) When does my policy expire? This to me are the most basic questions a client that holds a policy with your company should be able to see in your system on the spot by looking at my profile. Instead she had to call me back twice and actually wanted to call me back a third time to answer my questions but without being able to explain anything else. I am at work so i told her that instead i would like to cancel my policy. Only after i asked for my policy to be canceled was I transferred to agent Brandon Vanderbeck. Basically from then on it went even more downhill and i will absolutely will never work with Allstate again and will make sure to let as many people know about my poor experience with your agent. Basically Brandon Vanderbeck was able to make a situation from bad to worse by his horrible customer service and insults. I really hope our conversation was recorded and for someone to look into the way he talked to me. telling me i must have not had lunch because i was frustrated about the lack of response i was getting and because i wanted to cancel my policy. So instead of apologizing or understanding he got very defensive and basically gave up and didn't care anymore. He was dismissive and rude because i wanted to cancel. I want a follow up to this complaint and i want to immediately cancel my policy and take my business where i'm better helped and treated. read more

Definitely a full service agency that caters to your insurance need. After speaking with Taylor I felt reassured that my future was insured. She educated me on different typed of insurance from auto to additional disability that could protect me from so many types of accidents that happen daily! I also got a critical care insurance plan that pays for itself- all I had to do was submit my doctor's visit and ta-da! I got paid $140 for just going to my doctor! This office was polite and helpful until I tried to cancel my policy. When I asked to cancel I was told no problem, then they called back repeatedly telling me they came in cheaper. I finally called back and told them I wanted to cancel (again). I was having issues with the DMV and at first they again were helpful and tried to correct the problem. When the problem wasn't rectified I was told "you're not properly being represented and if you were our customer we'd do everything in our power to fix this." The conversation continued for them to blame my current carrier, even though the 2 separate times I called DMV they stated my current carrier has the correct paperwork in and Allstate did not. From the bashing of my current insurer it turned into digs at my husband. At this point I asked to speak with someone different then Gerry Fitzpatrick. He told me everyone was on the phone and there was no one else that could take my call. He proceeded to tell me he had to go and leave the lines open to paying customers. I then asked to speak with the owner, Brandon. To which I was told that he was also on the phone. I told him I would wait and he said "so you want to be left on hold then and just listen to hold music." I asked for a call back but of course I was never called back. I emailed Brandon but I never received a response. The customer service of this office was the worst I have ever experienced. Gerry was nothing but rude and degrading as the frustration grew for the problem not being fixed. I will never have Allstate as my insurance carrier because of this experience, along with my friends and family. I hope this behavior is not the norm of this office because attacking my husband and bashing my current insurance company is not the way to gain business. read more

These people somehow ended up being my agent when my previous agent somehow disappeared. No idea what happened or why I got transferred to this guy. They kept calling me at bad times to talk about coverage. Well, really that wasn't a big deal 'til years later. They said can you come in to talk to us. I said no, now that my previous agent is gone I can't come all the way out to long island to meet you just to talk about the service. They are not located near any public transportation and they are really far from new york city. Why did they take my account from my previous agent who was located so far away? So they said ok since you can't drive here let's talk on the phone, a phone appointment, and they'd call me up. OK, I put that on my calendar, exact date and time. They did not call me. I am the customer, it was not *my* request for this appointment it was *theirs*. I could have done something else that day, they didn't keep the appointment. I waited for the call. On principle I did not call back. So I moved to another agent. If they can't keep their appointments how can I trust their office with insurance? read more
