I am writing this review because Catherine Davis Allstate has not respected my wishes to remove my information from their databases as well as remove me from their email list. The reason I left Catherine Davis's insurance company was because I changed banks and this agency wasn't able to figure out how to change my routing number for direct withdrawals after giving them the necessary information to do so. After weeks of frustration trying to get this simple procedure fixed, I finally gave up and switched to State Farm. I was happy with my decision and left it at that. Now, Catherine Davis has repeatedly sent me emails soliciting their services with promises of decreased rates and such and since I want nothing to do with her agency any more, I politely asked to be removed from her database and email list. I requested this on July 15th via email and received a reply from them saying they would comply with my wishes. Today, I receive another email soliciting their business! Catherine Davis's agency obviously doesn't respect their former clients' wishes. They have difficulty accomplishing simple tasks such as imputing routing numbers for a smooth transition for direct withdrawal and NOW cannot handle the simple task of removing my information from their systems. How can anyone expect/trust this agency to handle accident issues if they can't handle the most basic tasks? I urge you to find another Allstate office or switch to State Farm as they have treated me with respect and thorough service. read more

The people seem to be nice, but when filing a claim for the hail damage we received from a hail storm last month, the person they sent, Greg had excuse after excuse for not wanting to go through with the claim. There is obvious hail damage and he is trying to say that it was already there when I know for a fact that it was not. Then he says that the dents on the vent were already there from when it was put it. Then he says that another person from Allstate drove by to make sure that he wasn't going to do the claim. Sounds like to me that they were dead set against it before he even showed up. Sad all the money we've paid over the years, but they don't want to pay out. read more

I have had some amazing Allstate agents over the years (14 years as an Allstate customer) but this was definitely not one of them. The customer experience was poor almost every time I had to contact the agency and I would get calls almost weekly asking me if I wanted to add services, even though I repeatedly told them know and gave them good reasoning. If they had just jotted down a note once and stopped calling me it would have been appreciated. The lack of care along with the ever increasing rates are the reason I am no longer a customer. You are NOT in good hands with Allstate!!!! After 22 years as an Allstate customer, Allstate sent our flood insurance bill to the wrong address and cancelled our policy without ever notifying us. After our home was seriously damaged in the great flood of September 12, 2013, no one at the Catherine Davis Allstate agency in Longmont, CO called or checked in with us. When we contacted them about our flood insurance, they told us that it was entirely our fault that the policy was cancelled and we "should have noticed that (we) had not received the bill". They claimed that the Catherine Davis agency would have "no way of knowing that the policy was cancelled", as flood insurance is "really not us, it is from the National Flood insurance Program". We have since found out from other insurance agents that this is a lie! Agencies ARE notified, but they chose to ignore the notice and not bother telling us! We spoke to 22 Allstate employees trying to get some help, or at least to get someone to promise that they will never do this again to a customer. Not one person would make such a promise, including the Colorado Regional manager, Phillip George! When we asked Mr. George to send us a letter explaining their decision, he refused, saying, "We don't have to put any of this in writing, as you are no longer an Allstate customer." We reminded him that we still carried auto and homeowner insurance with them, he said, "Well, you're no longer a flood insurance customer." I subsequently changed all of my policies to the Jennifer Paris State Farm Agency and it turns out that they are giving me MUCH better coverage at a MUCH lower premium cost! So much for being a loyal Allstate customer for 22 years! Be warned! You are at great risk if you insure with Allstate! The Catherine Davis Agency is particularly incompetent and the company has decided to stand with them against the clients who rely on them after suffering a major disaster. We have been treated kindly by FEMA and by the many friends and volunteers who have helped us as we continue our recovery after the flood. The only exception has been our insurance company, who treated us with contempt and carelessness. read more

Allstate wrote a homeowners policy for my parents in 2004. Since then my mother has moved in with me and when I looked at the bill in Feb. 2016 I noticed the payment was high. After a little investigating I found out the policy was written as a single family dwelling instead of a manufactured home policy. I called Allstate immediately and spoke to Michelle to inform them of the error. Michelle said she would look into it and get back to me. I informed Michelle she could verify the information on the Weld County Web site. After playing phone tag several times, I received a voice mail from Michelle on March 28th saying they were going to re-write the policy. I asked for a refund of what was overcharged and her reply was, they could not backdate the policy or issue a refund. I asked to speak to corporate and they said they didn't have the number someone would call me. I received a call from corporate and they were aware of the error. They said it's the customer's responsibility to review the policy every year. I noticed the error and reported it right away. I'm sorry your agent wrote the policy incorrectly! What about the agent's responsibility and level of customer service from the agency? Since the policy has been amended and re-written her payment is now half of what she has paid for the last 12 years. So all the money Allstate was overpaid they get to keep plus the commission. Wow, Great Customer Service from Allstate...Are you really in good hands? Try American Family in Louisville they have Awesome customer service and rates. Also, if you have had issues with this agency I would put in a complaint with the Insurance Commissioner's Office. read more
