They refuse to reinstate the policy and now becouse it looms like we have not mantaned insurance continuously for 6 consecutive months it's both difficult and much more expensive to buy insurance. Just avoid allstate altogether. I would strongly caution anyone against relying on this agency to manage their insurance policies. We have given this office a tremendous amount of business over many years, insuring a large portfolio of properties and referring significant business to them. Unfortunately, since Rhonda left, the management of our policies has deteriorated to the point that we have moved them away one by one. Earlier this year, WE conducted an audit of our policies and uncovered more than $25,000 in refunds from paid-in-full policies on properties we had sold that had never been returned to us. We then had to identify and chase down those refunds ourselves because the cancellations/refunds had not been handled properly. We have also had policies continue renewing and charging us on properties that should have been cancelled years earlier, policies written with incorrect information, and now a property actually go uninsured because a renewal payment wasn't processed. Their office has our cards on file and historically charged them for renewals, yet apparently stopped doing so--with no phone call or email warning us that coverage was going to lapse. These are not minor customer-service issues. These are serious insurance management failures that create enormous financial liability. They claim to manage our policies, but our experience has been the exact opposite. We have had to audit their work, catch mistakes, chase down refunds, identify policies that should have been cancelled, and now discover lapses in coverage ourselves. After years of giving this agency a significant amount of business and referrals, I have lost all confidence in them and have pulled nearly every policy away. DO NOT assume your policies are being managed. Check every renewal, cancellation, payment and refund yourself. Based on our experience, I would not trust this office to manage an insurance portfolio.
