I had an absolutely horrible experience with this office. I requested a quote on home owner's and…read moreauto combined. I was shopping around to see if there were better deals out there. I ended up talking to a woman who works in the office (not Jay) and she spent 30 minutes with me on the phone gathering all my information and current insurance coverage. She stated that quote was subject to change as it wasn't a final decision. I expected this, but have always seen the difference to be relatively small, so I wasn't worried. The quote I got was very competitive and seemed very appealing. I continued to inquire with other companies and nothing compared to this quote I got from this agency. I called back 2 days later and talked to the same woman. I told her I was ready to move forward. She told me she would need to double check the quote. She then came back and gave me a quote that was over $700/yr more than the original quote. I I was livid because there were NO changes to what we discussed from 2 days earlier. Absolutely no new data points were added, so how did this change so dramatically? When I started voicing my frustration, she simply told me she was sorry and then disconnected from me. I have no idea how an agency who wants to work on word of mouth would treat a potential customer this way. It was horrible and had a "scamming" feel to it. I was not impressed.
