This insurance company is offering to federal employees. They're policy states that in order to…read morehave "have a clam in for short term disability" after having the insurance policy for at least 10 months. I've had this this insurance policy for 5 months already and have been paying into it. Well when I became 4 month pregnant, I received a letter from the company stating that my policy will be deemed as "void" because the broker who processed my applications 5 months ago did not do it correctly and therefore they will not be accepting any pre existing claims and they cancelled my policy. I hear about this 5 months later! I call the insurance company and they tell me there is nothing they can do, and because of this mistake of the broker, all of New Jersey and New York has been affected. I will NOT be getting my short term disability coverage when I give birth to my first child from this company whom I trusted. Oh and I didn't mention, even if I apply to another short term disability insurance, they will not accept my claim due to me ALREADY being pregnant. Also may I add, as a federal employee, we DO NOT receive maternity leave once a woman gives birth. Will will not be receiving this untill your baby is born AFTER or ON October 1. My baby will be due August. So pretty much these people screwed me over and I have more stress than I need because of this company whom I trusted. They will NOT consider even trying to help and Ms. Johnson whom I spoke on the phone with was quick to hang up the phone because she seemed annoyed if my issue.

We use NJM for our Home insurance policy and my wife uses NJM for her Auto insurance. Last…read moremonth(12/22/18), I purchased a car and took this opportunity to switch my Car insurance from AAA to NJM Auto Insurance so that all of our Home and Auto insurance are under NJM. We were informed that our insurance would be $920 for my wife's car(2014 subaru crosstrek) and $1120(2019 Subaru Outback Limited), our car salesman talked to NJM the day we bought my car to insure that they know all of the safety features of the car. Today 1/2/19, I went to check our Policy online to setup the payments since we received an NJM packet last week that only contained my wife's insurance policy at her old rate before I was added. So I called NJM to verify the amount of our policy and the representative I spoke to mentioned that it changed from $920/1120 to $992/1173. He said that the previous rep should not have confirmed the previous values since there was a 4% rate increase for the new year. He then put me on hold to research if there are any other factors that raised our rate. After about 5 minutes, he reiterated the 4% increase and brought up my no point violation from March 2016. If I knew they would do this I would have stuck with my previous insurance for my car.

I keep chasing them to get information and speak to my reps. And if I am frustrated I get an attitude from the reps. Very unprofessional and so unsympathetic.
