Dealing with the adjuster assigned to my homeowner's claim was a nightmare from start to finish…read more Little did I realize how useless my agents would be. The claim was filed on April 2nd. We were told that the adjuster would contact us in 24 hours. Didn't happen. I asked for help from my agent and was told they could only send a request to have the adjuster contact us. Still no response. Finally after 5 days I finally heard from the adjuster. He said he was scheduled to do an inspection on a certain day. He didn't show up. Another week went by because he said the roof was too steep for him to climb and he would have to contract an independent company to do the inspection. Finally, the inspection was done on April 17th. Now we were waiting for the adjuster to submit an estimate. Another phone call/vm from me to adjuster on April 21st. He did return my call on April 22nd with estimate. I can see why reports say State Farm is loosing business. The whole process has been extremely stressful. I am looking at other insurance companies and careful reading reviews. I'm done with State Farm.

Allstate's total loss department in San Antonio is filled with incompetent employees. Thought I'd be "in good hands." Epic fail! Allstate San Antonio has no use for customers once it is "assumed" a vehicle is totaled. A squeaky wheel eventually will be oiled. Unfortunately, It required a vast amount of patience and time. I did NOT respect Service Kings evaluation of the car being totaled. I requested that an actual employee with Allstate reinspect my vehicle. My vehicle was NOT totaled. Service Kings service adviser in Plano inflated the actual amount of damage done to my vehicle. Service King was a nightmare. I've been informed that Allstate has heard of other people having similar issues with Service King. What?? Why did our agent refer us here? Peterson's group, you're in a position to change these types of over inflated prices and not send customers to this business. Service king should not be reviewing customers claims. I also took a star off because my previous claim experience with them (one of their customer's t-boned me after running a stop sign) wasn't a good experience and I ended up having to surrogate Allstate, and won. I'm hopeful that won't be my experience as a customer.
