I love the fact that it is a locally owned small business that has the backing and resources of a national company. So, I get all of the benefits and perks of a large company, with the personal attention and exemplary service of a small business. We recently purchased a new vehicle on Saturday, when the offices of my local representative were closed. However, when I sent an email to my point of contact, it was responded to within hours! This is what fantastic customer service is! I go out of my way to patronize and use locally owned small businesses. Sometimes this means that you will not always have access to some of the benefits you might get with a larger company. But again, being a locally owned office that is part of a national company is getting the best of both worlds. Wow we only have our automobiles insured through them, they also provide homeowners insurance and a myriad of other services as well. I cannot recommend them enough!

I simply called to cancel a policy and was lectured on how the MVA would handle a cancellation and they demanded to know the status of my vehicle and where our tags have been turned in ?????? Despite repeating myself several times that I am not interested on being advised she persisted. Dana did the same and when I expressed I didn't need to be advised on the matter and didn't like the condescending tone of Julia she again began to explain to me what happens when I cancel a policy. Really a bizarre group and arrogant behavior. Instead of honoring specific requests they lecture you and talk over and overall lack common considerate communication or responsiveness. I have friends and family members experience the same situation. Poor advice to try and convince you to retain unneeded policies. Do yourself a favor and move along to another Agent.

They are bad about returning calls, emails, etc. They're not very caring and you're looked at like just another client. When you call I've found no one can help you unless it's your specific agent. What's that about?! I thought by switching from a higher priced insurance to Erie would be cost effective. Just remember you get what you pay for.

PLEASE READ REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING AN ANNPOINMENT…read more Took my 2017 Buick here to find the reason for a whistling noise and an oil change. When we went to pick up the car my husband drove it off the lot and the whistling was still there. I immediately called and was informed that they needed to order 2 more parts. The Parts came in pieces in 2 different deliveries. We took the vehicle back on Friday, I was informed they replaced the parts but could still not find the source of the whistle. (remember they called me on Monday that the car was finished!). So they had the car all day Saturday as well and no call to update. I called for an update and was told they had to stop working on the car because they needed to fix 2 other cars!!!!! I new where I stood at that point AND they never called me back before they closed for the weekend. At this point I had it! First thing Monday morning called another shop and they said to bring the car in. So I called and told them I would be picking up my car and taking it somewhere else. I paid a total of $828.24 for 3 days in the shop at AAA Crofton, car is not fixed AND after I paid $173.99 for them to run Diagnostics. I know I owe for parts but labor for diagnostics is ridiculous. They did not diagnose anything. I also reviewed them on their site and no one has even reached out to me. They did not supply the quality of the service I expect from AAA, The new shop diagnosed the issue within an hour, ordered the part and had my car fixed and on the road a day before promised.

We were in a pinch as our usual mechanic couldn't get the tire and get us taken care of same day. I purchased a tire at AAA, Gambrills and paid to have it installed while I waited. Left there happy thinking my tire had been replaced only to arrive home and realize they had not replaced the tire as I requested and paid for but simply plugged the hole in a way that would not last 10 miles. Went back and talked to the manager and was told that he did not know how that mistake could have happened and that it would take 3-5 weeks to get my money back. To say I felt cheated is an understatement- not sure what is going on at this "service center" but be aware!
