It was a boring grey day, kind of spritzing light rain outside. When I walked it, every corner of the office that I could see was absolutely buzzing with activity. Phones were ringing, people were walking around talking to each other and on their phones. For a second, I stood there soaking it in, thinking to myself that it felt like a scene from a movie where they were exaggerating all the office sounds for effect. But this was real. Anyway, I asked an employee if this was the right spot to drop off our check and she replied very kindly that it was. She took our check, some detailed information, and that was that.
