We did a half day pontoon rental with Allure. The experience was as good as I could have asked for. The owners were super easy to work with and extremely friendly. The boat was in excellent condition, Bluetooth stereo worked well, GPS with bread crumb trail of the channels was helpful in navigating and a chart was also provided. They allowed our dog to join which was an added bonus as he had a great day. We visited Boca Grand sandbar as well as Stump pass sandbar. We saw dolphins swimming 40 feet away from us when we were at the sandbar. Englewood is a great location to rent a boat in southwest Florida. Will definitely use Allure again. read more

We did the Sunset Cruise and it was breathtaking with the sights and the views of of the sunset and we were able to see some dolphins near the end of our tour. The tour guide was great at pointing out some key places of interest along the tour. The boat ride was smooth as I am not someone that particularly likes boat rides, but the tour guide was safe and the ride was calm and the whole evening was a great experience. The owner was helpful and showed us the gear and navigation. The trip was good - no problems. The issue was the table on the pontoon we rented was loose (not known when we rented) and came loose during our cruise. The bolts came loose from the deck. We reset it once - the screws could be set by hand. It came loose again and we set it aside. No hard bumps - just people bounce against it. To sum up we were charged to reset the table. The table had been reset before as there was evidence of epoxy and the screw holes were very loose. To sum up - make sure all defects in the rental are known before you set out and check the table for sturdiness. read more

Never again. They rented out a boat that kept breaking down on us. After the third time they finally sent a boat out to exchange with the junk that we had. We wasted a hour and a half that was lost on our rental. When we came back there was no offer of any compensation instead the owner kept saying it was user error as to why the boat kept breaking down. First of all two people operating the boat have combined 35 yrs of experience operating boats. The owner claimed the water was too shallow that we were in, ok the first time we were in over ten feet of water did not know that is considered shallow, the other two times it was over seven feet, again did not know that's considered shallow. The guy is a complete jerk and instead of trying to make it right escalated the situation. Do yourself a favor and stay away from allure. read more

Talked to them about renting a boat and because of their friendly employee ended up renting a pontoon from them mid week. Super easy to rent from. Had the boat ready for us to go at 9am. Went over all the rules and safety regulations, made suggestions on what to check out, see dolphins & manatees, etc. The 3 kids had a blast along with my grandparents who normally hate boats. read more

No problems, no attitude, 100% customer service. We took out an older boat for its last voyage as that's all they could give me at the time. Honestly, don't even know why they got newer boats. We had a great time jet skiing out on the gulf. The staff was cordial and flexible. The owner gave us a slight discount which was nice of him to do that. This helped make up for the fuel cost at the end. Only reason they don't get 5 stars is cause we got lost trying to head back to the dock and did not answer their phone after several calls for help. I really enjoyed the Bennington that I rented, and it was such a treat to tour around the bay to see so many extraordinary features, including a family of dolphins right beside our boat! But what stands out the most from my rental experience is the remarkable customer service. From the moment I scheduled my rentals to the three or four changes I made to my plans, the customer service could not possibly have been better. What an amazing experience! While visiting on a Girls Trip - six of us, some experienced kayakers but mostly novice we rented three double kayaks. The staff was so very helpful including giving us a map. We kayaked by gorgeous homes and mangroves with frolicking dolphins, nesting osprey, lumbering manatee and beautiful egrets. Lunch on the beach with clear blue waters and so many shells! Return trip the wind was at our back! Rented one jet ski for two hours. The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. The equipment appeared to be in like new condition and ran great. You leave the marina area at low speed for about 15 min. Then, there's a short stretch at cruising speed until you get to the gulf where you can obviously open it up in the open water. We saw several dolphin pods and a school of tarpon. I recommend the morning during the week, especially if you're inexperienced. Calmer water and less traffic. I highly recommend Allure! read more

Allure Boat Rentals Review It's been a few weeks ago, I had to calm down a bit before writing my review. Our friends and family rented a pontoon and two jet skis. Check our took a little longer but he staff was very friendly. The equipment was great. Ran well, very clean. About 4ish, on the way back to their dock, one of the jet ski just died. It had literally been sitting, chatting with the other jet ski rider. We made the call, to see what they wanted to do. Honestly, we were pretty close, I figured they would want to it. But no, he wanted us to toe it. No biggie. Before we even got the vehicles docked, Mike came down, berating us. We turned it upside down, we ran it aground, they were brand new machines and don't just die. Verbal abuse from Mike continued. "They don't just die" "talk to you kids, they are lying" it was terrible. He literally got up in my face. My 18 yo had to step in the middle and tell him to not talk to him that way. (My kid pretty muscular, 6' 2'') Mike totally ignored him. I might add, one of his employees fell twice, Mike never checked on him, I did. So hubs convinced him to put a hot battery in it. Started right up. They took it out the bridge and back. NO issues. But Mike still ranted and raved he was charging days he couldn't put it on the water, even through his own mechanic said it was fine. My only request was he apologize to my kids for calling them liars. I did my part and apologized for killing a battery. Long story short, kids didn't do anything, we dealt with about an hour of verbal abuse, insinuations that were not true, threats of police and extreme charges on the card. My advice, don't deal with Allure. Mike is a hothead, has no business being in customer service. His verbal abuse really put a damper on our day. read more

We selected Allure after carefully checking other rental places in this area. The 22' pontoon boat we rented was almost new and extremely clean - perfect for our party of seven. It was outfitted with GPS, depth-finder, and VHF marine radio. As I was acting as "captain", I felt more secure having a boat with these navigational aids. Michael, the owner, was extremely cooperative and accommodating. He provided charts and many helpful tips for our excursion to Cabbage Key and Cayo Costa SP.
