I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at this office. From the beginning, communication was unclear and misleading. I was under the impression that I would be added as a co‑signer for my daughter's braces, but later learned that I was not included on the loan at all. Instead, the loan was placed entirely under another co‑signer's name without properly explaining this to me, yet I am still responsible for making the payments. I was also informed that my insurance would not cover orthodontic treatment, which later proved to be inaccurate. My insurance was never properly submitted or reviewed, and as a result, I was encouraged to take out a loan without fully understanding my coverage options. When I raised these concerns with my insurance company, the office denied responsibility and claimed I was being untruthful. Additionally, I am being billed over $4,000 despite my daughter not even receiving three months of treatment. Overall, this experience lacked transparency, proper communication, and professionalism. When the my child was called, they had me fill out the paperwork while waiting for the dentist and my child was already in the chair. When I told my receptionist (curly mid length hair) my name and gave her my cards she asked if I had gotten her voice mail she left *AFTER* she confirmed with me... I found that entire statement odd.... So you called me after you confirmed my appointment? She said yes...that she left a voicemail after realizing my insurance wasn't assigned to this office... WHY DID THIS NOT GET CHECKED BEFORE CALLING AND CONFIRMING ME??? What's the point of taking my insurance info when I first made the appointment OVER a month ago?? I just wanted a cleaning and I had to go through a process which is understandable but this could've been avoided by!!!!communicating at any point in this past month before you confirmed with me 24 hrs on a Friday when u couldn't change anything anyways!!!!. I got driven (I don't drive) 30 min ride over and 30 min back...I'm disabled so it's a process for me... What a Waste of gas, money, time, and meds that I need to take to just get into the car! The dental hygienist was fantastic however I was charged for extra exrays I didn't ask for and didn't want so I won't be going back.

If I Could give this place ZERO stars I would. I need to get my wisdom teeth out. I scheduled an appointment a month in advance for 2:30 pm. They Changed my appointment to 12 PM without asking me and without offering me to choose the time, I called Days before and they said I can come in late, at 12:15/30pm. They told me they can do a consult and pull my wisdom teeth the same day. (A procedure that's going to take time) I called again today at 12pm to ensure that I can come in at 12:15 or 1230pm. the receptionist said they will refuse me because it won't fit the doctors schedule. He could consult and pull my teeth but all of a sudden there's no time allotted? my teeth HURT and I need to get it out. The receptionist made it clear she did not care and told me I can't come in until September 25... wait another month ?! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE - they do not care about you or your teeth.. they don't even want your business or try to make it work !! wtf read more

Excellent dentist. It's been at least five years since I've been to the dentist and I can say that the Novocain shot was pretty much painless and that's probably the critical point for me. I had a lot of work done a crown and bridge deep cleaning all Perfect. My prior Dentist had retired so I was looking for someone new and I can definitely recommend allure dental and I give some pretty critical reviews but I couldn't find any faults with the disservice it was excellent. read more

I HATE THE DENTIST. That being said, if I have to go it will only be Allure Dental. I originally scheduled an appointment because I had a cavity. I had previously had a horrible and painful experience at another dentist so I was not thrilled about the idea of going. The dentist came in and explained exactly what was necessary for my treatment. He was patient and even offered show me in detail on a large screen what was needed. Of course, he was going to do my filling that day so I would need a shot. I almost started crying at that point. (Did I mention I hate the dentist and had a previous bad experience?) He was very gentle and only gave me enough to start the numbing process. Then he returned after a few minutes to give me the additional shots to complete the numbing process. I hardly felt anything! I was shocked. Unfortunately the cavity was not my only issue. I also needed a crown. Once again the dentist was gentle and I never felt the shot. In addition to having a great dentist there is also the office staff. Always friendly and prompt. They work with you to get appointments scheduled and are caring and patient with those of us who have had bad experiences. I would highly recommend this place and am happy that I finally found a place that I can go and feel safe. read more

I have never experience such horrible care in my 43 years of life. This dentist office is not focused on patient care, its main focus is co pays and billing and coding. I went to this dentist office because I was in excruciating pain and I was told that I had a wisdom tooth that needed to be removed. I had to wait almost a month to see the oral surgeon because he only comes in once a month. I was given antibiotics and ibuprofen in the meantime. The pain got better but I knew that the pain would eventually come back if this tooth was not pulled soon. A few days before my appointment, I was told that they had to cancel because the surgeon had a family emergency. I had to wait another month. After finally arriving to my appointment I had to wait 2 hours to be seen only to be told that I needed a wisdom tooth and another tooth removed and I will not be seen until I pay $1300 up front. No payment option was offered and they were COMPLETELY ok with me leaving after waiting 2 months for the appointment. The staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional, I have heard them discussing and laughing about how much another patient was overcharged. I just bought a house and relocated to Fort Lauderdale and decided to give this office a try, but I would NEVER be returning and would not miss an opportunity to highly discourage individuals for going here. Most referrals come from word of mouth so just know you have lost a patient with me. read more

I had an appt this morning with Allure Dental for a cleaning. I confirmed this on the phone twice. I went this morning and they took x-rays and after the dentist did his exam, I was told that I would have to come back for a cleaning. They did this so they can charge your insurance company again for another office visit. I will be contacting my insurance company monday morning to inform them of this type of business practice, I will also be contacting Tallahassee and informing them of this type of business practice. Everyone complains of high insurance rates this is a reason why. read more

I dont trust dentist...HOWEVER...I HAVE FOUND A DENTAL PRACTICE THAT IS HONEST, COMPETENT, PROFESSIONALS..WHICH MAKE YOU AT EASE FROM THE TIME TOU WALK INTO THE DOOR....... I had thought that the services I needed that day were covered under my dental benefit ..however it wasn't...The dentist took the time to explain to me personal while in the chair the reasons it wasn't covered...he could have sent in the practices management ( billing/ Insurance employee)...no he took the time..and they were patients in the office who he could of been working on...this ethical doctor felt it was his responsibility to explain the fact I had complications with my needed services that extended beyond the scope of services that I required...basically he gave me a lesson on the anatomy of technique that was needed to make me comfortable and to somewhat guarantee that I wouldn't have to run back and forth to the practice again again..THE DENTIST GOT IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. The first time I went a couple of weeks ago, they told me they would do my cleaning and fillings right then and there, but after I waited for two hours in the waiting room even though I had an appointment that I'd shown up on time for, they only took X-rays of my teeth and sent me home, making me waste hours of my time. Now I call them back and these bastards refuse to perform a procedure that my insurance covers completely (simple fillings with anesthetic) unless I pay out of pocket for extra unnecessary anesthetics. ("Sorry, the 'doctor' only does these procedures with the extra anesthetics, and your insurance doesn't cover that.") I spent all day on the phone with them and with my insurance company over it. These mofos are shady as F***. They're just trying to get a few extra bucks out of you because they don't want to go through the process of filing a claim with Medicaid/Dentaquest. Everyone there is great. The den techs and the office staff. They actually made going there fun. I believe because the doctor sets the tone. I can see the staff all enjoys working with and for him. This place is amazing they take their time when they do your cleanings and the crowns are always the right color the manager is so nice and always knows how to put a smile on my face I've only known her since yesterday but yet it feels like I've known her forever they always pick up your calls and I have to say this is one of the fastest working joints I have ever been to they call u in like two seconds I would recommend this place to anyone and may I say this place is not boring like others they actually dress with the seasonal items and their office always smells good and don't forget the free food they give out they will give out little snacks like chips and a juice or smt that will keep u up so u don't starve to death the office is always clean and tidy and unlike others they aren't mean yes they are professionals but tHey know how to have a lil fun like I said this is the best place ever read more
