It was our first visit at this office and we were initially seen by a PA and another assistant. The PA provided recommendation that was not clearly explained and didn't feel tailored to my son's situation. She was going on and on about what her brother used many years ago for hair loss, it was weird. Mind you my son is only 20. I had to specifically ask to speak with Dr. Singer who I made the appointment with. When he came in, he seemed to take a more thoughtful and thorough approach tailored for my son. However, he only spent less than a minute with us before quickly leaving the room. He did not clearly explain the final plan leaving us confused. He asked the nurse assistant to do cortisone shots and my son was very nervous and I asked her if she can better explain to him what this procedure entails. She was no help!!!! As a parent, I expected more time, communication, and direct involvement from the doctor, especailly being we CHOSE YOUR OFFICE and it was my sons first time there. My son went home feeling defeated as we've been waiting for this appointment for a couple of weeks now. If you want a doctor that will listen and care about you, Dr. Singer and his staff are not it!!

She gave me Dr. Tanzman's information, and in April 2023 I scheduled my consult. From the moment I walked into his office I had a sense of peace. After speaking with Dr. Tanzman I knew that this is where I was meant to be. Dr. Tanzman is nothing short of amazing. He is thorough in his examination, listened carefully to my concerns, and then made excellent recommendations; he is compassionate. He then did a second procedure a few weeks later. he told me that he does back to back procedures all of the time. After my tummy tuck my incision opened while I was still in the hospital when the nurse tried to get me out of bed. Dr Chau told the nurse he was out to eat and it wouldn't be until the end of the day that he came and he did not believe my incision opened because that doesn't happen. He finally got to the hospital and found it was open. He sewed me close in the hospital room in a non stream environment. My healing process was absolutely terrible. I have photos of my infection growing that my husband would send dr Chau and he would say "it's normal". My whole back ending up opening again at home due to the infection. I went septic before dr Chau would see me. I ended up having to go to the ER and have a surgery to scrape out infection and close me back. My stomach is crooked, my belly button is crooked and half of it hangs, my boobs are different sizes and definitely nowhere near what I wanted. I wouldn't trust dr Chau to work on my worst enemy. I beg you to go somewhere else. This man should not have a practice.

So, I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in, there was no greeting--just, "What's your birthdate?" Then, they handed me an iPad and asked me to fill out some forms. I explained I was there for the free consultation and asked what kind of information they needed. The response? "We need to see if you qualify for removal." Folks, that's how a scam starts. "We need to see if you qualify" really means, "Let's figure out how much we can charge you." There's no qualification for tattoo removal! The only thing that qualifies you is having money. If there's any actual science involved, you're not going to hear about it because they won't give you a consultation until they check if you're financially viable. I called their corporate office to complain and got the same scripted response: "We just need to assess your financial options." All I wanted to know was how much it would cost, which I assumed I'd learn during the consultation. Then, I get a text saying my appointment has been canceled, followed by a message about how they "would've loved to serve me." What a load of nonsense. If this review seems a little hostile, it's because I drove nearly an hour for a bait-and-switch. Avoid this company at all costs. The whole experience screams that they're out to financially exploit you. They might as well just tell you to bring your bank statement to the free consultation. What a total joke!

Like any surgery you have a consultation first - which makes sense - it's a big decision. I wanted to meet Dr. Black first, and I immediately liked and trusted him. He explained the surgery and what the recovery would be like. I paid for the consultation but my insurance (minus deductible) paid for my surgery since it helped improve my vision. His staff is very efficient. They walk you through the insurance process, they handle all of the paperwork and then when you are approved they call to schedule your appointment. The recover was not hard at all, much less painful then I was expecting. I believe Dr. Black has better skills than most eye surgeons and I had only a small incision and stitch after he was done. I went to him due to a recommendation and then I sent my sister in law. She just had her surgery and is also very pleased.
