Turned out I needed a crown. He was able to make it right there in the office. It was made so well that it fit without any adjusting needed. Through the whole process he asked me several times if I was feeling any pain. His concern for my comfort was greatly appreicated. I had stopped going to the Dentist due to poor experiences in the past. With Dr. J I will gladly return twice a year. He will have ALL my dental business from now on.

The lady in front verified (or at least said she did) my benefits before I ever agreed to have the work done and now that it's time to put the crown on the want over $300 more money because they failed to mention that they only are on network as a premium provider not a PPO provider. Has I known that I would have walked out that day and gone somewhere else but I was lied to by the receptionist who specifically told me they my PPO was ok and how much it would cost. The office manager would not even let me explain that to her. And yes I got upset. They are holding my son's tooth hostage and the insurance company said they should have . Now he can't even go anywhere else to have another crown put on because the insurance is going to deny it so he is pretty much screwed because this dentist couldn't be honest with me from the get go. Do not trust them. The dentist may be great but he needs an entire new office staff. Then proceeded to tell me I had periodontal disease. I have no symptoms and my teeth are very strong. Showed me X-rays for proof not having any idea what she was showing me. Refused to clean my teeth because I wouldn't spend close to $3,000. They have a "records" department and when the new dentist I went wanted them the quality was so bad that they couldn't use them. The majority of not all walking out of the office was told they had periodontal disease and gave them information on how much it was going to cost if you can't pay for it then you take out a loan. My X-rays was quick and easy. Waiting room was clean and the paperwork was all digital on an iPad which is awesome. Wish the TV was on is the only problem haha. No wait though.
