In our monthly planning calls, chats in the Aisle Planner platform Contacts section, "shower thoughts" email threads and text chains as the big day approached, Molly was always proactive, responsive, kind and fun to work with. On site, her colleague Allison was a grounding presence in the hair and makeup suite, keeping everyone feeling taken care of and on schedule. I cannot recommend this fantastic team enough for their high level of attention to detail and A+ execution on my vision for my Bridal Dinner, Welcome Party, Ceremony, Reception, After Party, and Goodbye Breakfast.

My husband and I got married in April 2024 and we started the planning process about a year and a half before the wedding. Throughout the months, Kirsten was an excellent communicator, organized, and very kind. We emailed and texted regularly, had monthly meetings (weekly meetings when we got closer to the wedding), and she made sure to followed up on tasks that I needed to do as a bride. I never felt stressed with planning the wedding, and I know that is ultimately because of Kirsten. I trusted her from the beginning, not only because of her amazing experience, but because she is a good person and executes the job well. She and her team also planned our welcome party, which was breath taking. Everything was beyond perfect. Kirsten, thank you for all you and your team did for our special day. You made us feel like the most badass bride and groom. Thank you for everything!

My daughters have stated that if they get married they hope to have such a compassionate minister. Sojourn photos and grace in getting you comfortable with the photo shoot is amazing, being on the other end of the camera most of my life I was n't too comfortable with the spotlight on me, but in no time I had forgotten she was taking photos I was so comfortable in her presence. They do what they can to accommodate you with locations and will help with anything they can. Our 25th Anniversary was so magical. Thanks for brightening our day with love and light.

Short Notice Dream Come True - Intimate and Authentic…read more Infinite Bliss Weddings lived up to its name without the commercial fanfare and with care, authenticity and intimacy. Ajani, the wedding officiant and Sophorn, the photographer were both warm, responsive, kind and just lovely humans to be around for our small elopement on the beach. We arranged the entire elopement in a week without fuss or stress. I wanted flowers and my partner wanted a ukulele player, those were the only things we wanted to add to the Pearls packaged offered by Infinite Bliss; Ajani and Sophorn gave us some local Kona-area recommendations that worked out perfectly to meet our needs and support local artists. The Ceremony: We were married on a beautiful beach that Ajani recommended and had an intimate ceremony with just us. The ceremony incorporated some of the beautiful Hawaiian language and culture without feeling like cultural appropriation and Ajani gave us a moment during the ceremony to talk to each other without any pressure of written vows. His words were personal, inspiring, hopeful and brought in a spirit of joy and love. Ajani consulted with us during planning by phone (not just email); he reached out and we were able to chat with him about what we were looking for so he could personalize our ceremony. His words on the beach, in the moment were touching, spiritual and personal - exactly what we had hoped. The Photography: Because our family couldn't be there, we wanted to pay for a photographer for our tiny ceremony; Sophorn did a wonderful job capturing the quite moments as well as the ceremony and beauty of the atmosphere. We were hard to photograph; neither of us is photogenic and we were both nervous. Somehow Sophorn captured photos of when we were most relaxed and being ourselves. She used the environment and beauty of the beach, sunset, lava, trees and ocean around us and made us feel comfortable while trying to help us relax. The package: We purchased the Pearls package with a ceremony, photographer, photo access, leis and personalized certificate and photo slide show. We had our first batch of photos and the slideshow within a few weeks of our ceremony, but Sophorn gave us two beautiful pictures to share with family within a week so we could share with family right away. We are still waiting for the full gallery of photos with more candid shots (also part of the package). They are taking a bit longer than I would have liked, but I am not concerned. Sophorn kindly shared the best photos with us in a timely way, so that we could bring our family into the moment. The slideshow she created was true to the feel of our wedding and the feel of Hawaii. Infinite Bliss Weddings is reasonably priced and though they are a small operation, they have everything you will need for a quiet and beautiful wedding on the Big Island. I can't recommend them enough.

Hiring them was hands down the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the moment we booked with them, they went above and beyond in every possible way. Our wedding took place at a VRBO, which meant every single detail, from rentals and vendors to setup and timing, had to be coordinated from scratch. It felt overwhelming at times, but Teya and Rachel made it all look effortless. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I found myself feeling incredibly anxious about how everything would come together. After my planning meeting with Teya, every single worry disappeared. She was calm, organized, reassuring, and had thought through every detail I hadn't even considered. She truly allowed me to let go and trust that everything was in good hands. On the wedding day, Teya and Rachel arrived early and took complete control behind the scenes. They coordinated multiple vendors arriving at different times, handled all of the setup, managed the timeline down to the minute, and made sure everything ran flawlessly. As the bride, I never once had to think about rentals, caterers, schedules, or logistics. Instead, I was able to be fully present, soak in every moment, and actually enjoy one of the best days of my life. One of the biggest challenges with destination weddings is that the days leading up to them are packed with welcoming guests, hosting events, and trying to spend time with everyone who traveled to celebrate with you. Knowing The Chapter of Love was quietly handling everything behind the scenes during those busy days was such an incredible gift. It gave us peace of mind that is honestly priceless. Our wedding exceeded every expectation we had, and so much of that is because of this amazing team. They didn't just meet our expectations, they completely exceeded them. If you're considering hiring The Chapter of Love, do it. They are professional, kind, organized, and genuinely care about making your day as perfect and stress free as possible. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Teya, Rachel, and everyone at The Chapter of Love. We will always be grateful for everything you did to make our wedding so unforgettable.

The Good: We hired Betty for our wedding in March of 2020…read morebut had to reschedule due to Covid and she was very flexible in working with us on this. She also did a good job of performing the ceremony once she arrived. The Less Good: We had a wedding on the Hilo side of the island which has spotty service to say the least. Betty was 45 minutes late for our 10am ceremony and this is only because we had to send my uncle to find her lost on the side of the road. Due to spotty service, no one heard from her until I called at 10:15am and come to find out later, she had been calling my wife (the bride) from 10:01am multiple times that she was lost, having a backup phone number would be helpful to prevent this. The place isn't hard to find if you plug it in your phone/GPS prior to losing service, but this and other communication issues definitely lead us to believe there is a struggle with technology. Once she arrived, the ceremony went well and the next lapse in communication ensued. My wife and Betty had exchanged voicemails the day before the wedding after we finished on virtual licensing agent appointment so our marriage certificate could be issued. Betty stated that she had everything ready for the day of the wedding and didn't clarify that we needed to print off our marriage certificate so we were rushing to find a printer after the ceremony which caused more delays and we were not able to sit down to brunch with our guests after the ceremony. Because she performed well at the ceremony, I was initially going to leave a 3 star review. However, we had a friend get married several days after us and we heard that she was late for their wedding as well. Being late to two weddings in the same week is very unprofessional so I can't in good conscious recommend Betty to other couples and if you do book, maybe lie and say your ceremony is earlier so she is on time.

Everything went smoothly, starting from my initial inquiry a few months ago, to the ceremony on the beach. Betty emailed the vows to me and allowed us to customize it anyway we wanted to. We found that what she had written was perfect. She gave us a choice of locations, and offered suggestions such as bringing leis to the ceremony for a Hawaiian lei exchange. Nice touch She showed up a little early, which was great, because we took a few minutes to find the right spot with the sunset in the background. If you are looking for the perfect sunset pictures in the background, I would recommend a 6:45pm start time. I highly recommend Betty, for someone that doesn't want the big production and big cost at one of the hotels.

Seriously, don't walk, RUN to book her! She's not just an officiant, she makes you feel like ohana (family) throughout the entire process. From the very beginning, Aunty Tutu put us at ease. She has this infectious smile that lights up the room, and her warmth is truly genuine. We trusted her completely, and that trust made the whole wedding planning process so much smoother. Like, as I was searching the interwebs for "Kona officiants" and "Hawaii wedding officiants" I was literally thinking...this is kinda nuts. Thankfully...we found Andrea @ Weddings a la Heart. From the moment we contacted her she was super responsive and kind of amazingly friendly and helpful. For instance, we had a handful of locations in mind for our simple big island ceremony, and she volunteered and took the time to drive to one to check it out as there was the possibility of construction noise. She walked us through the entire process in terms of what we needed to do (we were fairly clueless, and google can be somewhat confusing), what she would do, what kind of options we had for the actual ceremony, etc. We also had a pre-ceremony call where we sort of got to know each other and went over some basics like vows, and other specifics. She was helpful, flexible, and patient throughout. Most importantly, when we met her for the ceremony (again, total stranger!!), she exuded a sense of calm and warmth that immediately put us at ease and let us know that we made the right decision. The ceremony was beautiful, Andrea was great, and, I suppose most importantly, we pulled it off! I guess this isn't a typical Yelp restaurant review where I say that we can't wait to go back, as, presumably, weddings are, ahem, done once, but I can say that I would recommend to anyone I know and to all the strangers of the internet that, should they be looking for a big island officiant, look no further than Andrea, because she is the one (not THAT one, because I already married THAT one, but you know what I mean)! Not only will you not be disappointed - you will be thrilled.
