My surgeon ended up going on emergency medical leave the night before my surgery, but they called…read moreme immediately and got me set up with another surgeon in the practice. She was lovely, and my original surgeon was amazing during all my preop appointments. They delivered nothing but kind and compassionate care. I do have to knock my review down a star because it was like pulling teeth to get their FMLA department to fill out the appropriate paperwork. I couldn't get ahold of anyone after calling every day for a week and once they filled out the paperwork she put in the wrong return to work date.

I was referred to this office by my primary care physician and waited over a month for my first…read moreappointment with Dr. Jasmine Smith. I spent an entire week trying to confirm my appointment through the automated phone system, but it repeatedly told me my appointment could not be confirmed. I called the office multiple times and was sent to voicemail without being able to reach anyone. The day before my appointment, I was offered a 10:00 AM appointment instead of my original 9:40 AM time due to "scheduling conflicts" by Yvette. I called back as quickly as possible while I was at work and left a voicemail confirming that I could make 10:00 AM but needed a call back to confirm. I also sent a text message stating that if I did not hear back after my voicemail and text message around noon, I would assume the other appointment had been rescheduled and that we were still set for my original 9:40 AM appointment. Instead of confirming either appointment, I later received a confirmation text stating that I had been rescheduled to a Wednesday--even though I had already explained that Wednesdays were not possible because of my work schedule. The following morning, I attempted to call as soon as the office opened and was sent directly to voicemail. I called two more times and was sent to voicemail both times. I ultimately had to drive to the office in person just to get an answer. I spoke with Rita, the office manager, who explained that the scheduling issue was related to a full-office meeting. I was given conflicting information regarding whether this meeting occurs biweekly or monthly, and it appeared that this time was not blocked off appropriately in the schedule. Rita repeatedly explained that there would not be a practitioner available until 10:00 AM and that I could keep the 10:00 AM appointment if I wanted. At that point, I was already extremely frustrated and in tears after spending so much time trying to resolve this situation. I explained that I could tentatively reschedule to another Tuesday while deciding whether I felt comfortable continuing with this clinic. I had also already reached out to my primary care physician regarding the situation. Rita then instructed Yvette to reschedule me for the following Tuesday. Yvette informed me that the next available Tuesday appointment was not until Mid-August. I had already taken unpaid time off work to make this appointment work, and this delay was the result of a scheduling and communication issue that I had repeatedly attempted to resolve. I understand that scheduling conflicts happen. My disappointment is not that my appointment needed to change--it is that repeated communication failures turned what should have been a simple reschedule into weeks of unnecessary stress and delayed care. Patients should be able to trust that when they return calls promptly, leave voicemails, and communicate their availability, those efforts will be acknowledged. How can you trust an office with your body or well-being when they cannot reliably answer a phone call, return a voicemail, or respond to a patient's message regarding an appointment? As a potential first-time patient, I no longer have confidence in this team.

When I was told that my T count was low at 40 years of age I was a little shocked to be honest with you. I had always associated Testosterone with bedroom activities for which I had no issues. On top of completely changing that game even, the benefits of T therapy have enhanced my total being and living experience as a whole. The energy, the clarity of the mind, changes in my physical makeup, my outlook on life, all of these attributes have really gone off the charts. My physical appearance is one of the bigger benefits! I've been able to cut my weight training to about 4 hours a week vs. 8 and am still gaining lean muscle mass. Each of the ladies brings a unique style of their practice to the table, all of which, in my opinion are the top of the tops. The knowledge that sits in that office is off the charts and I'm 110 % grateful for it and so are the other patients I've talk too. Thanks to all at Health and Wellness Center for absolutely helping me to obtain my A game in all aspects of my life!

After being under the care of many practitioners and searching for someone who could help for the…read morepast 7-8 yrs I finally stumbled upon Geri. The first appointment I had with her she spent approximately an hour listening to my concerns and answering all my questions. She sent me for comprehensive blood work and I met with her a week later to go over the results and provide a treatment plan. Again she spent about another 45 min with me explaining everything in detail. She determined my hormones were all out of balance, which I had suspected as I was having hot flashes about 6 times an hour. I have now been under her care for about 6 weeks and I have to say all my symptoms have subsided. The hot flashes discontinued about 3 days into treatment and I can honestly say I feel like I did when I was in my 20s, I'm now 49. I have unlimited energy, the desire to work out, a sense of wellbeing, no more aching joints and I'm sleeping through the night. Making the decision to be under Geri's care has been one of the best decisions I have made for my health. She is truly a Miracle Worker!
