I saw this company awhile ago and always kept it in the back of my mind in case I ever needed it. I wish I could "check in" on Yelp but since they are traveling medics Yelp does not have that functionality. After coming down with a bad illness overnight, I knew I needed an IV but didn't want to drive, sit in a waiting room, potentially be exposed to something else and it's pretty much the same cost as doing so with AZ IV Medics but it's in the comfort of your own home. I had Katie as my RN today and she provided me with great care and had wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend AZ IV Medics and ask for Katie if you can! read more

We have used AZ IV Medics for years for various medical issues for my family members. In our last visit, my wife requested to have a tech that doesn't wear perfume or have strong smells and to have the IV go slow because all of these would make her symptoms from her condition worse as she is suffering from a rare complex neurological condition. First off the tech arrived and although she was very kind and great, she had a strong smell from her lotion that fill our whole house. We asked her if after putting the IV in, if she could sit in the other room and check in on us because she smelled to strong and it was making my wife sick. Additionally, we asked to make the IV slow in order to not overwhelm her system. She agreed to both and said it was no problem. An hour later, a dispatch operator named Chris (apparently he is one of the owners as well), calls his tech, and then proceeds to yell at my wife and telling her that her request and the speed that we were going were simply "unacceptable". I don't care who you are, you don't yell at your customer (who is already dealing with stress from a medical condition) because your tech agreed to our request. If there was an issue, it should have been explained in a better way. Simply, they don't care about you and your care, they just want to get to the next appointment and collect your money. I waited all day for service, only to be told that no one was available to come to my area--even though this company has serviced me here twice before. This is now the second time I've spent an entire day waiting while they tried to find someone, only to eventually be told that nobody could come. They advertise that they serve Northern Arizona, but apparently that doesn't include all of Northern Arizona. It's extremely disappointing to have received service at my home in the past and then suddenly be told that my area can't be serviced. After having this happen twice and wasting two full days waiting, I've lost confidence in this service. Unfortunately, I'll be finding another company to use from now on. read more

I called on Tuesday to set up a 1L infusion of NS for a patient. I was quoted $120 for the whole thing. There was additional requested information regarding the patient that was sent via email and again, no mention of any additional charges except the $120. They charged the family an EXTRA $100 because the order wrote to administer for 1.5hrs instead of 1hr. Had they mentioned ANYTHING about an extra charge we would've had the order written for just 1hr because that is absolutely ridiculous. I called them today and Chris Huddleston was less than helpful and offered a 15% discount for the next service due to the "inconvenience". We declined and will never use this service again and I will never recommend them to another person. Had they simply informed us of the cost up front this wouldn't have been an issue and they even "apologized" for not disclosing that over the phone. So they admitted to a mistake but refuse to make up for it. Unacceptable. There are plenty of IV companies out there that people should use instead of dishonest ones like AZ IV Medics. read more

I went into AZ IV Medics today for a hydration IV yo try and mitigate the altitude sickness I usually get for a ski trip tomorrow. The nurse that administered the IV was excellent. But, there was a family right in back of me (this is one big room) with a very sick woman getting an IV. I mean VERY sick- terrible, constant chest cough, troubling breathing. fever and muscle aches. I could not believe they let someone that ill in that room. If I don't get the flu and/or a terrible chest cold in 3 days I will be shocked. I will Never go near this place again. They really need to screen who they serve in a public room- very irresponsible. read more

I hadn't been aware of AZ IV Medics until I became very dehydrated and lightheaded due to a severe COVID sore throat and needed hydration quickly. Within a few hours Emma (an RN) arrived, took my vitals, health history and after reviewing all with an on-staff NP, had me set up for an IV with some extra vitamins and nutrients. My nephew (a fire captain, EMT, paramedic) was familiar with the company and recommended them as well as a particular IV formula for me. Emma couldn't have been kinder and more competent. Her full-time job is at Banner, but she keeps busy on the weekends with this extra work. She was just terrific! I felt tons better the next day. The IV therapy really helped me turn the corner. Caught a nasty stomach bug and it was taking forever to get over it. Finally reached out to AZ IV Medics, and so glad I did! The process was extremely easy, got booked online in 5 minutes and the staff and Danielle Pace were amazing communicators! Once my appointment was confirmed with an RN (Danielle) she text me and everything was set to go. She was amazing! Showed up to my house on time, very professional, kind, friendly and knowledgeable! AZ IV Medics came to my rescue when I had the most AWFUL food poisoning. I was not able to keep water down and I knew that I was going to be in trouble if I did not get some type of hydration stat. I did not want to leave to try and go to urgent care as I was still actively sick, so I looked up mobil IV places on yelp. AZ IV Medics had the best reviews so I filled out a form to see if I could get serviced in my area. When I tell you they responded IN MINUTES. They were very great at communicating that they were looking for someone in my area and would message me back when someone accepted. I got a response back within 15 minutes that someone could be at my house in less than an hour. Then Dianna texted me to let me know when she was on her way. I had let Dianna and team know that I was sick with food poisoning and they had no problem getting me the help I needed. Dianna was what some could call an angel from heaven. She made me feel so comfortable and calm. I am not good with needles as it is and add being extremely ill to the docket and I am sure I was no ones cup of tea but Dianna was so great! Dianna was telling me how she was a retired firefighter and she wanted to do something in retirement to continue to help people...like i said, literal angel! Dianna worked quick to get me meds and I felt immediately on the mend. What made me feel even more comfortable though was that Dianna was in contact with a doctor and took pictures of everything she gave me. I already had full trust in Diannas abilities but the fact that this company goes the extra mile to be under a doctors supervision really made me feel great - especially when you essentially are letting a stranger in your home to administer drugs to you! Another bonus is I was able to use my HSA to pay for the service which was a huge bonus! Az IV Medics came to my house immediately after speaking with their nursing team. We needed their assistance to treat my son who has an immune disorder. In addition to being diagnosed with Covid, he was in severe pain, he couldn't swallow, he was dehydrated, weak, couldn't speak, his body was fighting against his white blood cells again, and his throat was closing. A couple years ago his throat closed and he stopped breathing. Needlessly to say, I was praying and searching for someone to assist! Az IV Medics was an answered prayer! They were willing to come assist us even though our entire family has Covid. Kyle texted first with an ETA, he was here in 20 minutes flat, as stated. Erin Combs is an absolute gem and an incredible professional. When she arrived to provide my mother IV therapy, she found her to have excessively high blood pressure so unable to give the I.V.. I asked her to administer a rapid covid test, which she did. It came back positive. As my mom is 89, I was very concerned about her health but I was out of state so unable to help. Erin called 911 for my mom, and waited to keep her calm until they arrived to take her to the hospital. She checked in daily to see how mom was doing. My daughter had a migraine since the night before and woke up with it still. This was my first time using this type of service and found it very disappointing. I scheduled everything online. I received confirmation for my 6 PM appointment with my nurses name. At 630 PM, after receiving no phone call, text or email, I reached out to their office to find out the status of my nurse. She supposedly had an emergency. With that said, I completely understand things come up, especially in this industry. My appointment was received and confirmed by 10 AM. This should have been corrected well before my appointment. I used AZ IV Medics to try and kick start my immune system to get past an ongoing problem. The Nurse that came out was professional, nice, and made me feel very comfortable. I was a little concerned about it being awkward having a stranger come to my home to give me fluids but it wasn't at all uncomfortable. The Nurse was prompt on arrival and I was able to get some rest after the treatment and I felt my body start to rev up the following day.
