The turnaround was way too long and there were too many setbacks. Obviously, there is no paint department there and they have to sub out that part of the work once the mechanical and structural damages have been fixed. Fiberglass, paint and finish work was perfect but I did not like being without my camper for four months when I was accustomed to making, on average, one trip per month.

Had to bring it back to them in July, as the refrigerator or the oven would not work, among other punch list issues. They kept if from July to September 21st and still did not repair/replace the refrigerator. We had to pick up the camper to use for our Honeymoon (with no refrigerator). During the month we had it at home, we received storm damage to the awning and the front cap. Filed an insurance claim, brought it back to Bent's in November to continue the repair/replace the refrigerator and to repair storm damage. They did not send the estimate of storm damages to the insurance company till December 18th, more than a month after we brought it to them. Brought them the insurance check in February. Finally got a call the the unit was repaired and ready for pickup around the 13th of April. We went to get it, the awning was still damaged. We were assured that they would order the awning fabric to complete the repair. Still waiting on that. We took the unit home, a 2 1/2 hour drive. The whole time driving home did not realize till we got home that they did not put the catch plate back on the hitch. Was the scariest ride ever. We thought the super glide was malfunctioning.

The purchase process was not that bad, as far as vehicle purchases go. The salesman, whose name escapes me, was pretty knowledgeable and friendly, and the finance manager, whose name also escapes me, was also nice to deal with. The entire process didn't take an inordinate amount of time and I get the benefit of getting to go glamping, aka glamorous camping, with all comforts of home. They are conveniently located on Airline Drive, just west of David Drive and have a decent selection of units on-site.

There is plenty of parking in their private lot both for vehicles and those towing anything. Inside the front door is not a sales area but you step directly into the parts and supplies store. They have pretty much everything you could think of and anything you could possibly need. It was well stocked and much more inventory and stock than my store back home that tends to be out stock on certain essential things. Not so here; the shelves and racks were full. I was able to pickup everything on my list and then some. I've always wanted an extra 30 amp power cord since one time I couldn't get close enough in an older state park. Steve's had a 25 ft cord that suited me fine. It was ten dollars more than ordering it online but there would be added shipping charges so I'm a happy camper. I'm bookmarking this place for next time because my daughter plans on moving back to her home state and I plan to visit yearly.

We were heading out to Pensacola when the RV died . the first three mechanics came out and tore a part the RV and was threatening to take out the driveshaft until we told them No . then they wanted it towed to their shop and again said no They were clearly out of their depth . we called Trinity and they arrived and in the first hour, they found a lot of serious problems that the other mechanics never found . we are on the second day of Trinity mechanics on the RV. Our RV runs like new and we are very happy that they saved Christmas. My sister is in Atlanta. She is disabled waiting for us to come and help decorate her house and wrap presents . Again. I told him never mind and got back on the road. Trinity RV LLC had billed me over $900 - when I asked for a refund and canceled, they returned only $443.....so I'm being charged $350 to cancel? I could understand a couple of hundred for the service call, but $350 and they fix anything? I don't think so.... Can you say THIEVES! The only "catch" was that the drawing was to take place on Saturday March 10th at the Dixie RV Superstore in Hammond, Louisiana and that the winner needed to be present to win. Fast forward to Saturday March 10th and we were on the road to Hammond to watch the trailer giveaway. There were approximately 150-200 people on-site for the drawing so winning was a conceivable possibility. The first 3 names called were no-shows (sucks to be them), but low and behold the 4th name called was NOT me. Oh well, it was time to look around. As today was an "open house", there were dozens of sales personnel, but they were there to assist only upon being approached. Therefore, if you were there just to browse, like we were, you could do so with no pressure at all from anyone. Furthermore, there were hundreds of RVs and travel trailers that were unlocked and open to the public. For those that were on-site to buy, there was a large indoor sales floor with many models to choose from. Furthermore, there is golf cart transportation offered to see the humongous selection on the outdoor lot. If and when you do make a purchase, a delivery coordinator conducts a full walk through with you upon delivery. Furthermore, you can stay overnight at one of many private site hook-ups for additional familiarization. A travel trailer is definitely in our future; however, we are a few years out from making our purchase. In the meantime, we will continue to attend the local RV open houses and RV shows. Based on my first trip to Dixie, they will definitely get a return visit.
