T-Mobile Tuesday combined with Fuel Rewards is amazing. At this particular Gas Station, I have been able to save in upwards of $.20 per gallon. This gas station is easy to get to; however, not to be confused, because there is like maybe 1 other Shell Gas Station in the area! I prefer this one because it is more affordable than the other. The only thing that was wonky was that I came to the gas station one day, intended to pay with cash and could not because the inside was closed and it was maybe 6:45pmish. I will look at the hours of operation next time I intend to pay cash. I just utilized another form of payment and was still able to get my discount. There are quite a few pumps and I have never had to wait, which is good. The Gas Station is situated on 2 major streets, so you can get to it easily. There is also a garage attached to the gas station. There are always cars for the garage, but its not junky or too clunky. I will be back for sure!!!

I'm sure the life story would make for a compelling Lifetime Movie of the Week, though, so don't stop chasing that dream. The unfortunate reality is that my horseless carriage needed sustenance and this is one of the cheapest stations in the area. Granted, it works for you since it is at a major intersection (South Main and the South Loop) but I'd ask that a moratorium on solicitations be proposed at the upcoming 2011 Homeless Convention (This year's theme: "Enjoy the Outside!" yet, ironically, the site is still to be determined). In return, I will refrain from colliding with you and your party members as I enter the parking lot. Deal? I can see how y'all love this spot since it is a clean modern facility - and has a bonus feature of having a McDonald's restaurant attached to it. I've had problems with gas quality from other gas stations in the area, but never here. It's also decently priced. Nine times out of ten, I am approached by someone asking for money when I stop at this gas station. I've become accustomed to this, so I just tell them no as I see them walking towards me. But, if this kind of thing bothers you, I'd suggest going to a different station in a different part of town. Also, this is attached to a McDonalds, so there is all kinds of crazy drivers who will run you down while they try to fulfill their McCrack fix.
