After 5 months of waiting, my wife and I have had to take it upon ourselves to finish the remodel and are filing a lawsuit against Mid Michigan Remodel to get back what we had already paid in material and labor for the work that was never completed. James took a complete ownership approach to our project and the final outcome proved his expertise. Jim is extremely knowledgeable, a rare craftsman with many years of finish carpentry experience, which is what we were seeking in a builder. From choice of materials, framing, conception and design, the final outcome exceeded our expectations. We are planning on having James build phase 2 of this deck next summer, adding a bridge, and another bigger deck area, which will extend further into the yard. Caleb came to our home, looked over the project of replacing our old furnace and a/c. He assessed the project, explained our options, answered all of our questions and provided us with a detailed quote. Equipment was ordered and they were able to work us into their schedule in about a week; (over a week ahead of the initial date which was 3 weeks out)! This was wonderful as the weather had turned cold and our old furnace was barely working. Two guys showed up at 8:30 am and got right to work and a little later 3 others came to work also! By 4:30 they had removed the old furnace and a/c and completely installed the new furnace and a/c and had it all up and running! They were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful, going above and beyond the required amount of work necessary. Also, they picked up as they worked and completely cleaned the worksite both indoors and outside afterwards.
