I told her I didn't appreciate this call today and would like to make a complaint. She hung up on me. I called back and told her that was unprofessional and wanted a call back. I don't recommend this online potion for defensive driving school. Hence, even this somewhat tech savvy person was frustrated with the setup and overall experience. The site is recommended by the court documents and gives their website information however it's poorly written with a lot of grammatical errors. Navigating through the lessons are confusing at first. You have to remember certain photos and titles. They quiz you this for memory purposes I am guessing. For this section, they give you 30 seconds to answer with only 2 attempts! I can see this being very hard for the old generation or people needing more time to comprehend. Some of the questions are irrelevant with remembering certain years or determining a person's alcohol in take is acceptable or how many defenses you can have before exteme mesaures are taken. Overall, this made me realize I should have maybe paid the ticket. The class was just as much. Lessoned learned. Please follow the speed limit rules in AZ and find another defensive classes than this one.

To add insult to injury, they are hostile when you call them to find out if your results will be available before the deadline issued by the court. For various reasons I had four different ride-a-long instructors and I found each very skilled in teaching an older adult how to learn new things, unlearn old things (and habits,) and improve almost every lesson. Cathy supervised the installation of the hand controls in my family vehicle and a check ride to make sure they, and I, worked properly. I am/was not a fast learner, but I greatly appreciated a lengthy counseling session at about the half-way mark in my lessons. This was all a part of the "you get what is paid for" with this company. the scheduler (who works in Tempe) did a wonderful job working around my availability since I could not drive myself to lessons or back home without help. I would not have renewed my license or been safe to ride with without the work of these fine people. The bill is paid, but I still owe them all a lot! Not that the recommendation of a 72.75 year old male with 10 years in Arizona matters, but you should check this firm out if you need driving instruction or adaptive training. (As of 9-9-2024)

5 stars for location & teaching style…read more This business is located about 10 minutes from the DMV office. Although class is from 8-4:30, you must be there at 7:30 AM in order to register. The class size is small, so the instructor is able to engage the students. Although I was required by law to attend Traffic Survival School in person, I learned things about driving that I had never even knew existed. So, I gained new perspective. The method is a mix of lecture, workbook, and video. If you don't speak English (well), they can still work with you. (While I was there, an instructor was working with new Americans from Africa who only knew broken English.) After class let out at 4:30 PM, I drove quickly to the DMV office. I stood in the Express Lane and had a clerk help me reinstate my suspended license. Despite popular belief, she accepted the paper certificate of completion from Universal Driving School. I paid with a debit card. (I think you must use plastic for this lane because it's like an ATM machine.) Literally, I walked out of the DMV at 4:55 PM with 2 large receipts proving that my license was reinstated. I kept them in my glove compartment and (legally) drove home. Bring beverages and snacks. While lunch break is only 30 minutes, you get to eat in the classroom. A basic Circle K is only one block away.

They called me the same day I raised concerns and granted a one-month extension. They also acknowledged that the conflicting expiration dates were caused by a software issue with ESRI and assured me that they are working to fix it. On top of that, they refunded the extension fee I had been charged, which I felt was unfair. Their response was professional, polite, and timely. Now that the issue and extra charges have been corrected, I'm updating my review. Other than the conflicting dates, the course itself was excellent and easy to use.

Every parent wants that school that feels like home, like their child is valued and seen, and where they are respected as parents - that's this school. My son (now 5) has a lot of energy, and a speech delay. The prior Montessori school he was at labeled him as "too much" and told me he needed to be in a "dedicated special education program". We got to DGM with Ms. Tessa (Primary), and wow she's an absolute unicorn of a teacher! She teaches emotional regulation in her classroom, her room full of 26 kids listen to her with ease. My son is so loved in her class and he has grown so much (in just 1 school year)! She's not a special education teacher she just knows how to teach with mindfulness, care, and the utmost attention. I wish all families could experience a school like DGM and a teacher like Ms.Tessa. Even the teaching assistants & school staff are so loving & kind. If your family is interested I 20/10 recommend. If money is holding you back, speak to the school about scholarships and aid, the school Director is amazing, she will make time to talk to your family personally. My daughter was physically abused by her assistant teacher in this private school "Desert Garden Montessori." It was during lunch time that my daughter was feeding water to her best friend. Mrs. Kristen, the assistant teacher, sees her goes over to her, pulls her hard by her arm and places her close to her face and says "Stop doing that she's not a baby." Leaving her finger marks under my daughter's arm from how hard she had pulled her. The school told me two different stories and none of them matched. The director and owner Shetal did absolutely nothing to protect other children and their safety as Kristen was never suspended or under any formal investigation. SHE IS STILL WORKING THERE. The director didn't even bother to look at the pictures during the first meeting with her and when she finally saw them by email she responded to me that they looked faded. Two weeks after they finally looked at the outside cameras because I asked for that, and found nothing other than Amy daughter just playing. Also, two weeks after other employees such as the social worker and HR were aware of what had happened. TWO WEEKS AFTER. And that was because I spoked to them. The pictures speak for themselves and my daughter's story does too. My daughter was so afraid and so blocked from what had happened as at home we don't do any physical damage. When I asked her why she didn't tell me some details sooner she responded: "Mom I didn't want Mrs. Kristen to be mad again." This is insane. This lady was cleaning tables when she saw my daughter giving water to her friend she proceeded to remove one of her gloves and pulled and grabbed my daughter so hard that she left her fingers marked on her skin. "It hurt mom. It hurt a lot and all I wanted was mom and dad." I'm disgusted by this situation and as a mother, this was definitely one of the hardest things I had ever gone through. The least thing a school should provide is safety and this school cannot even give you that. The Chief Investigator of the State Board of education was disgusted by this situation and in disbelief at the way this was handled by the director Shetal. I quote "These marks are severe and that woman who did them knew exactly what she was doing. Someone with this temperament cannot and should not be around children" Please keep your children safe and do not send them to this school who will never care for you as a parent or even as a human being.
