It would've been helpful if there were signs but I couldn't find any for the life of me upon entry. Luckily the park wasn't busy so we just chose the side that had a bigger dog. Didn't want my 70lb dog intimidating some small dog's owners. The park had tons of dog agility and obstacle equipment like tunnels, adjustable jumps and A-frames. Lots of fun for the dogs and great place to teach an old dog new tricks. Not a huge dog park but still nice. Unfortunately, there are some "land mines" from people that don't watch and pick up after their pups. Those folks ruin it for everyone. Just watch your step!

They apparently thought they would close up early. We were not the only family to enter at that moment. The staff that day was grumpy and not friendly. We heard complaints, Including one staff member who made a few negative remarks. About 30 min. later, It started to drizzle and they jumped with excitement. We felt uncomfortable and started to get out of the pool and then it thunder they started yelling pools closed, pools closed with excitement. Obviously we left. They have all the tourist brochures you will ever need and tons of kitschy Cajun art...like alligators and such. I wish I had taken pictures of that. They also have a neat area back behind with a walkway and an alligator pond. I didn't see any gators but thst doesn't mean they didn't see me! This is a great stop if you need the restroom or are vacationing in Louisiana and need tourist info. Don't forget to get a photo with the topiary alligator out front!

Seating is covered with bleachers to protect spectators from the sun and rain. There is a pavilion in the center of all the fields with restrooms and a concession stand. Everything looked well maintained for the most part. A lot of parking is available and they had side walks to use to get from the back of the parking lot to the entrance.
