I scheduled a detail of my classic car at Hot August Nights through Adams Polishes. I did not know Kerwin before that time. My car had a new paint job but with LOTS of overspray EVERYWHERE!! I was hoping for a miracle but prepared to settle for the best possible. Well, let me tell you, Kerwin and his team worked and worked and worked on my car, inside and out and engine and trunk and wheels and spoke hubcaps ALL DAY LONG!! My beauty never shined so well!! To my amazement she sparkled like she was suppose to, brought tears to my eyes, it had been a long journey to bring my classic from paint to... OMG..!! But wait, Kerwin wasn't satisfied with the results, he came out and worked on my spoke hubcaps even more, on his own time, and made those puppies shine like never before, rubbing off all that damn overspray that I thought was going to be impossible to remove!! He even took the time, well insisted, on teaching me how to continue polishing and using a drill and puffy thing instead of just using my 'wax on wax off' method. Kerwin and team, you guys ROCK!! I've used Kerwin/Aloha Detailing since the early 2000s. I have our cars detailed 1x to 2x per year: Volvos and Subaru Outbacks. When I've sold our cars, I alway shave Kerwn detail it knowing I'll make more than without his touch. Kerwin has always done a stellar job, the car always looks good, no perfect(!) - he does it, not outsourced to someone else, he does the work. When he asks what I need done, I just tell him "You tell me what I need". He sees things, small things, that I miss. And he points out what he thinks needs to be done: engine, interior, exterior, wheels/tires, light lenses, ect. As far as products, I never 2nd guess his product selection. And he does it at our house. I'm sure you can find lower cost detailing, however, you get what you pay for. Kerwin does my everyday car and he does exotics for shows. Called Kerwin on Wednesday afternoon for last minute interior details on our 2 vehicles the next day before leaving on vacation. They hadn't been cleaned in the 2 years since we had our son and they were absolutely *filthy* (we also have 2 Irish Wolfhounds...yep). He had another appointment already scheduled in Pueblo, but didn't hesitate to schedule me (in Colorado Springs) for the afternoon. His first appointment ran later than expected, but he came as promised and knocked out both vehicles (full size Chevy crew cab truck and Honda Pilot) with his team wearing headlamps after the sun went down. Kerwin and his team worked miracles on my car. After two Starbucks refreshers exploded and left sticky pink globs everywhere (across the dashboard, the ceiling, the visor, somehow all over the backseats?), they were not only able to remove the stains, but the interior looks spotless. Additionally, they were able to squeeze me in today, when we made the appointment yesterday. I've had my car for ten years, and it looks brand new. These guys are professional! They aren't "fancy car washers" - they actually pay attention to every detail. They also don't push upgraded services. The detaler showed me an area (leather seats) tha could use additional attention and told me what he could do to really make them "pop". The owner showed up to check that the job was being done properly and to talk with me about another project I had. Gave me a price and we'll be gettng that done next week. I can't say enough good things about Kerwin and his team. We had 2 SUV's for them to tackle and they came right to our house to do it. How easy! What a great experience--very professional, friendly and honest! I had my 1965 Mustang detailed by Kerwin and his team. He pointed out some paint swirls and spots that were overlooked during the rebuild process and fixed it!. The Mustang looked great after the rebuild but it looks awesome after Kerwin's efforts. Amazing how good our Sprinter Van looked after the Ceramic Coating. The Ceramic Pro brings the plastics on the van back to life. I can not get over how slick the paint feels after the ceramic pro coating is done. Water just beads off of the van. Very happy since Sprinter vans are known for rust spots in the paint. Our Sprinter has not had any because we keep the Ceramic Pro coating up to date. read more
