Oh geez... sober house tricks and money games never seem to stop. Here at Aloha House prepare to be turned into a prisoner by Jessica and Dave Leavins. The Leavins live like rocks stars & have a cozy beach life while their residents are monitored with cameras, a smart phone app and non stop required posts of pictures of chores, AA meetings & making your bed. You will be told NONE of these requirements when you get the sales pitch from Dave Leavins. He will simply say you have to go to a meeting every day. If you don't have a car, you are paying 400.00 per month for Uber and plan on adding that to your monthly rent. You'll be asked for the HIGHEST entry fee in South Fla for a sober house of 395.00 plus your weekly rent. After you pay, you walk in house and out comes the contract and surprise, you see the cameras are forced to download the tracker apps and then you discover, the house has a prime house manager and 3 other people that are "leads"". The ""leads"" scam is a flattery tactics used by the Leavins to get individuals to become loyal to them and continue living there plus they spy on every detail, every cup left out and any small thing that can be used for a discharge so they can double up on entry fees. These individuals delude themselves into thinking they are important being manipulated because surely they have low self esteem since they can't afford an apartment and are struggling with addiction. The internal house has cameras in every room. There is no closet space. There is almost no fridge space for your food unless you can to put your food outside in the fridge in the driveway. House managers and leads are inhaling vapes and chain smoking often attending zero meetings. You can't blame their misery since Dave Leavins treats them like they are unimportant too. He treats everyone equally disrespectfully. Mr. Leavins also flirts and makes the moves on female staff consistently while waving the Christian flag. Not cool. read more

My brother went here from Mandala Healing Center. David Leavins, owner, provided out right fraudulent information about rules, the tracking device installed on resident's smart phones & requirement of daily attendance of AA meeting which costs 400.00 to 500.00 in Uber costs per month. The house is full of security cameras & the tracking app Life 360 makes you a prisoner to the Jessica and David Leavin and their human trafficing scheme. They will threaten you on a daily basis here on being kicked out and homeless and wandering the streets. Of course, none of the house managers nor David and Jessica go to ANY meetings at AA. They only come by the house to collect money and threaten the housemates with discharge for trivial matters. You will have a breath alyzer shoved into your face every day & you are forced to post multiple pictures per day of your chore, AA attendance and breath alyzer results. You might as well check into County jail as pay for Aloha House. The owner David makes routine overtures to female staff and residents even though he is married and has children. read more

Aloha house will forever hold a place in my heart. In early 2021, it was suggested to me while in treatment to go to sober living. I was to a point where I would do whatever was suggested to stay sober. The treatment center actually recommended another sober living. But after I did some research I was drawn to Aloha. They were strict and I needed that. 90 meetings 90 days, get a sponsor, meet with your sponsor once a week for step work, get a home group and get actively involved in the recovery community. I had never lived in sober living and I had only half heartily attempted to work the steps. I was scared going in. The women in the house were welcoming and all about being clean and sober. They would hold me accountable and guide me. I cherish my time at Aloha. The community of amazing people loved me until I could love myself. At times it rubbed me the wrong way. But I had a spiritual awakening that showed me I was the problem. I am grateful to Jessica, David and especially Danelle. I have made friendships that will never be broken. If you want a spiritual experience through working the 12 steps of recovery and need to be held accountable look no further! The houses are beautiful and homey. The women are freaking amazing and goal oriented to live a better way. I absolutely know that God led me to Aloha. I live in a constant state of gratitude for my sobriety. read more

Finally, a sober living that is serious about helping people on the road to recovery, a place that adheres to a set of extraordinary standards to ensure the comfort and safety of the clients over an extra dollar being made. These guys practice integrity in an industry riddled with greed. They take sobriety very earnestly and operate with professionalism. Safety, disseminated goals and vision, unity, and camaraderie were all found to appeal to me and the residents as advantages of Aloha House Sober living. A family that I've never had, who made me accountable, reliable, dependable, and responsible. Not only have I become incredibly involved in recovery because of them, but I also come to embrace it with love cause they've taught, motivated, and driven me towards it. Sponsorship, 12 steps, and daily meetings were something I never clearly understood till the owners Jess and Dave explained and shared their experiences, strengths, and hope with us here. Which led me in the right direction of fully understanding, my purpose as a recovering addict and alcoholic. Aloha House is arguably the worst possible choice for anyone looking for a stable, constructive sober living situation. You will be ripped out of a 395.00 entry fee simply to walk in the door. The rooms are over crowded with 5 people or more per room. Some rooms have 3 people but there is little closet space. Because the houses are maxed out with people that make the owners rich (David and Jessica Leavins), their is little refrigerator space. You will buy food every day with no space. More Uber rides and bus rides and more expenses. You will pay 400.00 per month Uber combined with 1000.00 per month rent. You relapse one time- you are out and homeless. Owners Jessica and David will milk every dollar possible from you, tracking device on your phone, 5 people to a room, a meeting per day... Horrible sober living house! Owners, Jessica & David Leavins have been defrauding desperate people since opening these houses in West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. You are treated like a day care child and threatened daily to be kicked out on the spot. Horrible halfway house. Dave and Jessica Leavins are very conceited, money hungry and cruel. The house manager, Nikki, is a disgusting individual as well. They put up the sticker of the cross that equals a heart (love). I don't believe that they truly want to help people.
