The photos we received for our wedding turned out wonderfully -- our families were so happy with them, and we were grateful to have those memories captured. But sadly, we're now past 8 months since our wedding, and we still haven't received our highlight or full video, despite following up several times. We also asked for a few specific/missing photos (a large group reception shot and a portrait of the bride with her immediate family) that still haven't been delivered. What's been most disappointing is the lack of transparency and communication. We've been incredibly patient, giving space for the creative process and trying not to rush the team. But after so many months and repeated follow-ups, we're left feeling anxious and in the dark. We've just repeatedly been told "next week" for months and now we've reached a point that we've been entirely ghosted. We trusted Isle Media to preserve the emotional essence of a once-in-a-lifetime day -- and now we're afraid we may never get to relive it the way we had hoped. For a service of this cost and significance, this level of delay and silence is deeply disheartening. If/when our remaining photos and videos are delivered at the high-quality standard you would expect from Isle Media, I'll gladly update this review -- but as it stands, I wouldn't want another couple to go through this and therefore can't recommend their services to anyone looking for an event photographer/ videographer.

The yard was nicely gardened and included plumeria plants and a banana tree. Kristen put all of the flowers and foliage to creative use in her photos, and even used some recently fallen banana tree leaves for a fun dramatic effect. What I liked the most was their bundles- for reference my husband and I purchased the diamond package which came with both photography and videography. We also purchased their love story video, which is a 5 minute video to tell the story of how we met, and where we are today with wedding planning. The love story video experience was awesome. It was my and my husband's first time being in front of a videographer, but Rob made us feel so relaxed. We ended up doing two different shoots because I felt the first shoot didn't match the overall vibe of the wedding (which was on US not Dream FX Media), I also felt that I wanted to prioritize different angles (since I'm a bit self conscious) and have the video be shorter (originally the first video was about 8ish minutes long). And yes, this sounds like a lot of requests, because it was. And I knew that, yet Nicole and Rob didn't make us feel that way at all. They were so accommodating, understanding, and never made me feel bad for wanting to reshoot it. The second shoot, was literally perfect. It captured the vibe we wanted (elegant and romantic), and was the perfect length (5 minutes long). They were also open to editing certain parts of the video based on my requests which made the whole process so easy for us. Nicole and Rob truly made us feel like they cared about us and how we felt about the final product. During our wedding, we were so happy with their team. They were all kind and friendly. Nicole even helped me when I had a dress incident which is totally not part of their job description! But that's the type of people they are- willing to go above and beyond for their clients. We truly could not have been happier with Dream FX Media. They also sent us our sneak peek photos literally the day after the wedding, and sent us our highlight/instagram videos AND 600+ edited photos within one month! When I chatgpt'd how long it would take, it said on average 3-6 months. When I tell you Dream FX Media was working overtime, they were (sorry Nicole and Rob). But the videos came out BEAUTIFUL. And the photos were magical. I can't explain it, but both the highlight video and photos just brought me back to the day of my wedding and ALL of the feelings I felt. They captured the entire day- getting ready, our private vows, pre-photos with my family and bridal party, the ceremony, the reception- I mean everything, and looking at it all truly took me back to every moment. It was SOOO worth it. Yes, photography and videography can be pricey, but Dream FX Media are literal artists. With the help of our amazing wedding coordinator, Karisa, we booked ARIA Studios on May 16, 2019. We were overjoyed that we got a professional photographer on such short notice and it was especially important to get these memories captured. Our wedding day came and I arrived at our venue. As soon as I stepped out of the car, Jess from ARIA Studios was there, snapping moments that I will remember for a lifetime. She was so kind and patient with my (now) husband and I (we are really not models). We loosened up with her gentle guidance and she even helped me convince my husband to get in the water for some photos. My mother's health declined quickly and so I asked for the photos of her from that day expedited, knowing full well that it might be an additional fee. I received the photos quickly and Mom was able to see them and enjoy them. Now our family will remember this day, my happiest day of my life, which I was able to share with my beautiful Mom. About 4 days after our wedding, Holly was able to email us a couple of preview photos while they worked on editing the rest. We chose the Fusion package (Cinema 8 Hour Package, Same Day Edit and Photo 8 Hour Package). I blinked... And the wedding was over…read more My fiance and I spent countless months emailing/calling/texting vendors to make sure that we chose the right people for the job. We read through hundreds of reviews on The Knot, Wedding Wire, and Yelp. Since we live in the San Francisco bay area and the wedding was in Waikiki, it was especially difficult trying to sample food via FaceTime.... So much excitement planning the big day.... and it was over in an instant. And I don't recall if I cried when Kortni walked down the aisle. I don't remember what music was playing as we entered the reception. I don't know what the Lilikoi cheesecake tasted like. I don't remember if I got a dance with my mom. ... and that's where Albiola Photography and Videography came in. Jon captured every precious moment. His team of photographers and videographers answered all of the important questions. Yes, I cried. The entrance song was "Can't Stop the Feeling" from Trolls. No, because I didn't eat the cheesecake (or anything on my plate for that matter). Yes, I danced with mom to Boyz II Men. But let me rewind for just a moment... Jon is extremely responsive. And since there is a 3 hour time difference, it was nice to get a call before 9:00pm PST and not using the scale of "Hawaiian Time", which translates to 2 or 3 days later. LOL. It was kinda embarrassing, because I was being cheesy, but cute to hear him read. As I was putting on the finishing touches to the letter, I looked back and noticed that Jon was capturing every minute on camera. It was a special moment and Jon caught it. Jon has a special knack of being at the right place at the right time and not being in the way. He's like a photo ninja. But when he needed to take charge of a situation, like the chaos between the ceremony and the reception, he was able to take charge and still be nice about it. He was assertive, without being an ass, so i guess that makes him just ertive. Jon & Crystal also took great sunset photos at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Crystal caught several instances of us being our normal cute selves and just said "look up at me, guys". When we received a sneak peek of the photos, we agreed that the "look up at me, guys" pictures were some of our favorites. It was just us being dorks, but dressed a little nicer than usual. We were very surprised at how amazing the sneak peek of our photos looked and how quickly we received them (within a week). Kortni and I are very thankful for Jon, Crystal and the rest of the staff.
