I rarely write reviews but I had to write this pretty lengthy review after several interactions with a certain agent that goes by the name of "Jordan". Everyone else have been helpful, so this one star doesn't apply to the rest of the agents. For the last 10 months, Jordan seems to be the one answering the phone majority of the time when I call for help. I did receive help from other agents about different matters so no complaints there. But I am surprised that this location received so many positive reviews based off my interactions with this one individual. She doesn't seem to put any thought into what she says which left me scratching my head at the end of "every" phone call. Let me elaborate about my experience.

Questions About Premium Increase:
I called State Farm to inquire about my premium. Jordan answers the phone. I asked her why was there an increase in my premium. Her response was, "Because you drove less within the last six months. I can decrease your policy". Ok, cool, but how did you come to that conclusion about my mileage? I have nothing in my car to transmit information for you to know that. Policy was decrease but increased the following month. Made call the following month about the increase. A gentleman answered and said that the decrease was a one time thing but he took some extra time to help me out. That still didn't make sense, but because of the time the agent took to reduce my premium, I looked passed the statement he made. No big deal as this was my first of several interaction with Ms. Jordan.

Hit & Run:
Called State Farm to file a claim earlier this year. Jordan answers. Hi Jordan, I was parked in a shopping center parking lot doing some grocery shopping. Upon my return to my vehicle, someone pointed out that I had a dent on my driver-side door. How do I file a claim? Jordan made the conversation short by saying, "It might be cheaper to get it fixed on your own". What?! End of conversation. Ok, we have a problem because I have full coverage on my vehicle and you didn't even bother to ask to see the damages. I was caught off guard when she said that. All I could say was, Wow! My car is still currently damaged.

Within the Reinstatement Time Frame:
Recently I made a call to State Farm. Hi, this is Jordan, how can I help you? At this point I'm like, here we go! Why do I keep getting her when I call? Well, let's see how this goes. Hi Jordan, I was behind on my coverage a few months ago and a gentlemen helped with my reinstatement in which I paid the balance in full although I just needed to pay the minimum. I need help again with reinstatement. I'm well aware of the reinstatement time frame. Her nonsense response once again was, "We have to start a new policy, I'll call you back Monday". Monday? What insurance agent says that for this situation? What insurance agent say the things that Ms. Jordan has said up to this point? What was wrong with today? There was nothing to look into and I'm not a new customer. Why did we need to start a new policy? Again, she seemed like she didn't have the time to help me.
Now I'm at the point to where I've hade enough of Jordan. Your reasons on why my premium was up-and-down doesn't make sense. My car is not fix and now I have an insurance lapse all thanks to Agent Jordan. I never received a called that Monday.

Time To Get In Touch With Alonzo Howard Directly:
Called State Farm hoping to get in touch with one of the gentlemen that helped me before. Guess who answers the phone? If you said Jordan, you are absolutely correct. Hi, this is Jordan can I help you? I asked her can I speak with Mr. Howard. She informs me that he's not in. So I leave a message for him to call me and I left my contact info. She's curious as to why I don't want her help.

Phone Call Follow-Up A Week Later:
Called State Farm. Hi, this is Jordan. I'm saying to myself, OMFG! Is Mr. Howard in? Jordan says he's not in. I asked her did he receive my message? She literally said to me, "I don't know. Whoever you gave the message to should have handed it to Mr. Howard". I gave the message to you Jordan. She says, oh yeah he got it but he's backed-up so it might be a while before he gets back to you. Did you really give him the message? Nothing gets done when I talk directly to her. I'm taking loss after loss.
I can see now I have to find another way to reach Mr. Howard. His agents says he's never in the office. I can't even file a complaint about her without going through her. Insane! So here's my complaint.
So to Mr. Howard, if you get this review, please contact me personally. There is no way my car should still have damages under the policy I had nor should I have an insurance lapse. And this was way before my insurance was cancelled due to the negligence of one of your agents that goes by the name of Jordan. We need to talk about this and what can we do about my loses. This particular agent is terrible. read more
