First, let me say that Doc Joe is not the kind of chiropractor who continually bleeds you dry. He will treat you, make whatever adjustment would be appropriate, and then tell you, "if you need to come back, give us a call," and then he leaves you alone until you need something from him. I've had neck and shoulder pain for more than twenty years due to an injury, and I could never find a chiropractor who could offer a permanent solution. Doc Joe took x-rays, did a full diagnostic, and took a careful history of my injuries and medical issues. After he conducted his intake, he then presented a treatment plan to me that was both wholistic and practical. Doc Joe was able to get my pain under control, and then was able to heal that injury, and he did it in less than 5 visits! Alpha and Omega's wholistic approach was something I was very suspicious of when they first examined me. I was on Prilosec for more than 15 years--and then I met Doc Joe's partner, Doc Mike. He sat me down and helped me in a very practical way: he got me off of Prilosec, and I've never had to go back on it! For almost two full years, he's healed my acid reflux and heartburn issues, and I can eat normally and perform normal activities without any fear of reflux. That alone is worth the price of admission! My daughter has significant scar tissue from abdominal surgery from when she was a baby. Her scar tissue significantly impacted her quality of life, and she endured pain for many years. Doc Joe was able to help her pain levels by using a variety of techniques that involve massage, and organ adjustments, and some topical pain relievers. HE IS THE ONLY DOCTOR WHO HAS HELPED HER! The follow up visit (more than a month later) was with the nurse practioner... not the doctor. First started off by saying that we needed to do a bone scan because the MRI didnt show a certain diagnosis. That was the first imaging we had done at their request. So after I reminded her of that, she went on to say that they cant do anything. (She also didn't even have the full MRI report) Called to see if i could speak to the Dr and NOT the NP and was told I would need another appointment that is over a month out. We live 4 hours round trip away so I asked for a phone call or televisit. I was told that the doctor doesn't do that, evidently on the Nurse does. (We had a televisit 2 months prior that was scheduled for 1PM. I waited and waited for 2 hours, nobody ever called. Then I called the office and they informed me that they have until 5 pm to call for televisits. What? They never told us that!) I then stated that we will not waste anymore time with them and we will find a specialist. Then they had the audacity to call US later that day to try and set up an appointment. When I explained why we never want to come in and see them because all they have done is wasted time and money, I was met with complete unprofessional rudeness. (Wish i wrote down that womans name, because she was horrible!) She told me that they have patients that travel farther than us and this was our only option to be able to speak to the doctor and not the nurse was to have another appointment. . Advocate for yourself at this place! They will string you along and waste months of time and thousands of dollars.

Try using a name that isn't trying to capitalize on the reputation of another established pain management provider. I arrived and they had no record of an appointment. This can't be the first time that it has happened because clearly they deliberately took the name of an established provider with a reputation established long before 2023. I never raised my voice and in less than 5 minutes they called the police and said I was trespassing and wouldn't leave. I'm in pain that is completely untreated and I have no car. There is nowhere outside to sit and my condition prevents me from standing for any length of time. She is super aggressive and the officer arrives and it's pretty clear I am not being disruptive or causing a problem. He was very kind and took me home. I wouldn't see these people for a bandaid. Their people skills are nonexistent. I was treated with disdain and disrespect from the start. Truly, you can't allow someone to sit in your waiting area that hasn't got another soul in there to find out why the New Mexico pain Center hasnt got your information? The New Mexico center for pain and wellness is who the appointment is with thank heaven because I would not work with these yahoos if they were the only option in town. I would definitely not recommend this so called New Mexico pain center to anyone. Go to the New Mexico Center for Pain and Wellness on Indian wells they have been established long before this outfit was ever an idea. STAY AWAY NO ONE WANTS TO DEAL WITH THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE. They're so enamored with their pathetic impression of their own tiny power that they have to exercise what little they have. At least I was able to get a free ride home.

After the MRI they canceled one follow up appointment because they claimed they hadn't received the MRI results. My wife had to take the time to track down someone to resend the MRI results, send them, and then she was forced to reschedule the appointment (for yet another full month later). Last week, she called the bone and joint clinic and asked if they received her MRI (just to make sure) and confirmed her appointment. They said they did and all was good. Today, she shows up to the appointment and they claim that they don't have her scheduled appointment on their books and that she would have to reschedule yet again with them for a third time - of course they don't have any availability for another month which equals another month of pain. Most certainly, most definitely do not recommend.
